I hear you MONGO2TEN I am canning beans right now as well. I have walked and going walkung later. Have to clean my bathroom and do a little more things in the house. While they cooking I figure I would get the rest done.
Wednesday already!.. I've had a good week so far, celebrated my 58th birthday on Monday and get to share my day with the new royal baby!
Summer dryness is taking it's toll on the yard and we have a well for water, thus I need to rotate my watering and just try my best to keep the shrubs and my favourite trees alive... the big fir trees suck up all the water around here it seems..
Time to get the dogs out before it gets too hot for the older dog..
I walked/ran up a hill that is almost 4 miles long. It's a great climb! I did some sprints as well so it was a good workout. We still have lots of walking to do visiting family and doing some shopping. The temps are already in the upper 50's so it's really nice for working out.
Too little sleep again. When it stays light late and it's not, I really have a hard time getting to sleep before midnight, but the alarm goes off at six just the same. I don't think I'd start pressure canning in the middle of the night, but I did put away the produce delivery at 12:30am! Work awaits!

Morning everyone! I am also looking forward to a cool down, although it doesn't look like we're going to get one over here in the Southwest in the near future. Still, it looks likely to rain tonight, so at least there is that (always refreshing after the sun has been beating down on you for days on end!).

Mornin' team - think I'm finally getting over the shock from the podiatrist and really resenting that the temps have turned downward and are delightful for running with much lower humidity and no rain and now I am sidelined. Going to get my butt back to the gym - I need to move - somehow, someway, so not quite sure what I'll be doing, but at least I'll get in some fitness. Tomorrow I have PT and then I was supposed to do an adventure run, but instead I will be volunteering for that. Got to watch it closer on the nutrition end now since my first choice cardio is out for a time. Been good the past couple of days and still saw a bit of a gain on the scale, Hoping it is just salt or some swelling from stress and medication change and that the scale will head back down in the next day or two. Hoping everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

But we got our cool down too - and it's a moist 68 here this morning. Both my dogs have been running through the fields this m orning so they're damp and smell like wet dogs. So of course one wants to sneak upstairs and lie on the bed while the other is sure I need him to curl around my feet.
Worked on my triceps yesterday after my aerobics and stayed smack on my calorie limit. Boy that felt good - still does in fact. I love days like that.

Haven't checked in for awhile - summertime is busy for me with a huge garden and yard to take care of. And I've actually been sleeping in most mornings, which is my time on the computer.
Didn't sleep well at all last night - so I got up at 3 a.m. and got my green beans in the pressure canner. AT least I figured I'd be productive.
Running with hubby this a.m. and then out to pick some more beans, do some weeding and replant some lettuce and radishes. I'm planning on making some pickles today as well and might try some sauerkraut in the pickle crock. We have lots of cabbage and I've always wanted to try it.
I'm in Michigan and it's currently 53 degrees - loving it!

Good morning! Headed to gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class. I'm adding heavier weights when I can and worked on speed training on treadmill yesterday. Hopefully, I'll see some improvement. I was able to do my extra walks at lunch and after dinner.
Sounds like everyone is looking forward to a cool down. I think it definitelyh helps take the "slug" out of a workout!
