In spite of the restaurant meal last night, I've lost the sodium bloat from the weekend. I'm fighting the impulse to let tracking slide because I have leftovers that will be a guess, but that's not a good excuse!
Busy day at work, so I gotta get back to it, but I plan to stop at the rec center on the way home and check out the pool situation. I'd like a few sessions with a swimming personal trainer to help me figure out why my swimming is so inefficient. If I feel from those sessions that I could enjoy swimming, I'll look into a pool pass.
Today it was in the low 50's here. (We are on vacation at my in-laws in the UP of Michigan.) Since I ran yesterday, I walked 60 minutes today. There is "great" hills here and I made sure I walked almost everyone one of them. Of course, now my IT band in complaining. I'll live though.
We are taking my 15 year old out to practice driving today and out to lunch. I've been good about staying in my calorie range even though we are eating Mackinaw Island Fudge ice cream daily. (We can only get it up here.) Dinner tonight will be pasties, another high calorie food, but I'll only eat half.
I'm trying to prepare for my Thursday weigh in. I'm hoping that I'll be happy with the scale! I hope everyone has a great day.

We are having a heat wave here, so I am combining walking with swimming this week instead of running! Doing my best to move forward and to eat smart! Watermelon and strawberries are my favourite summer treats!
Good morning! Gotta have coffee! I got a giggle thinking about Maree plugging and unplugging the coffee pot over and over. I'm the only coffee drinker at my house so I have a Keurig. But I've recently started cold brewing again. You make a big batch of cold coffee concentrate and add it to hot water when you want a cup. There are about a million articles on the net, google it if you are interested in the details.
Got up this morning and did a 55 minute Pump dvd. It was awesome. I added weight a few weeks ago and am finally starting to feel stronger. Don't skimp on the weight ladies! Really going to focus on portions and healthy choices the next few days. Still chipping away at that vacation gain :/

Absolutely - Maree - Can't do without coffee pot and yes - too - not even once. And we should lead by example - we should not eat unhealthy things. We shouldn't live unhealthy lives.
Got to the gym yesterday and did some strength training along with the aerobics. I always feel so much better when I can do both. The full moon woke me last night and I couldn't get back to sleep. I walked all around the house in the moonlight. I have been known to dance in the back yard during a summer full moon but last night I just poked about, enjoying the way my world looks in this rare light.
Yeah. I'll probably crash early tonight. Food okay - but I'm glad this is a new tracking week.

home from cubscout camp where I got lots of exercise with the grandson, and did really well considering eating camp food. Also got all the camp laundry done last night and still got in a 40 min bike ride. Today its another bike ride and repacking for camp again next week. That will be the last camp of the summer for me. Sure which we could get a little rain here. Been a weird spring and early summer too much rain crops didn;t get in and now its too dry. Can't win.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it
The fancy Cuisinart coffee pot my family gave me for my April birthday present only 15 mos ago has developed a faulty "on" switch. It is FINALLY brewing after I unplugged it and turned it off and on 40 times; guess I finally held my tongue in the right spot! LOL (DD picked a new coffee pot up for me, a DeLonghi--never heard of it, but can't be without a coffee pot, right?)
Headed to gym at 5 a.m. for 30 min treadmill work, 60 min pilates. Yesterday I got an extra 35 min walk in at lunch and a 70 min after dinner walk with DH. Nutrition was fair.
