Dellmell, sorry for your sudden loss. Kellibean, great workout yesterday. I usually take the weekends off from work outs. Today, I took the girls to the beach for the morning. So much cooler. Now, we are in the backyard and they are swimming in our big blow up pool. Weather is beautiful today. No rain for us yet so I am watering my flowers too. Dellmell, so sorry to hear of your loss, that is so sad and I hope you can find some comfort somehow.
Dog mess.. me too.. I have the fan on all day (at floor level) for the older dog as he can't take much heat and those little, well big fur balls keep growing and blowing all over the place and hide in all the nooks and crannies.. Add the sand the border collie brings in.. they are a lot of work, but we love them.
Off to walk the dogs and then water the garden. No rain in our forecast for quite some time.
Good morning ladies! Got in my 3 mile run yesterday. Following the sparkpeople 10k training plan. This week is a little intimidating - 4 miles, 3 miles, 4 miles. Over ate yesterday and salty food to boot, so scale is way up this morning. Will focus on water and portions today. Think I'll do some ST later - I have a kettle bell dvd I love, that hasn't been used in a while. Everyone have a great day!

So sorry for your lossd, DELLMEL, you and your family are in my prayers. Toni, cooler front is coming your way - step outside, it may even be there now.
Weight up about a half pound this morning from the past few days, but down a half from this time last week, so considering it fairly stable. I'll take it, since the plantars is really flaring and cardio has been non-existent this week. Going to try a short run/walk for a couple miles tomorrow and then off to the podiatrist before work. Trying to get in some spurts of ST here and there, but it just doesn't replace my cardio. Still, got in 12K steps yesterday, so that should account for something.
Taking sis out for dinner after church. Going to stick with the Chicken Ensanada. The whole meal is under 500 cal (and 61g is protein with only 11 carbs). That will allow me a couple bites of some ice cream or a couple of fries as a splurge.

Good morning. I am sorry for your loss. I walked my little dog Dusty a half a mile longer than usual. It is cooler in the 70s and 80s. I will take Mom to the store and have her walk around. Best wishes on a great day. Linda from bean town
Calories in range after a few days of being over, so I'm happy with that - said NO to food a lot today (including no to DH for offering food) - plus walked over 3 miles, despite travelling about 250 km today. A good day.

My only exercise yesterday was cleaning this hot muggy house full of dog hair and sand. That and laundry - which necessitates up and down and up and down as I haul clothes from the second storey bathroom to the out door clothes line. My reward? Lots of clean clothes and a sparkling house - just in time for company today. Lunch will be grilled venison burgers. My WW leader gave me a trick for making moist burgers out of super lean meat - add in 1/2 - 1 cup of minced mushrooms. You don't really taste the mushrooms but oh boy do they make the meat juicy!
And if I want to get in any exercise I better go take my walk now! Cheers one and all.

I weighed in a half pound less than last week before I left for vacation. We did a lot of walking on the trip, I brought my resistance band with and worked the upper body a few evenings and two days of swimming may have helped. I sweated my a@@ off every day on the motorcycle as everywhere we traveled each day had heat warnings. We drank a TON of water.
Yesterday I did a three-mile run and went for a bike ride a little later. Then post-vacation bowel issues kicked in big time! Sorry for the TMI but I think that had something to do with this morning's weigh in too.
I think the storm we got last night, kicked up crap that's aggravating my allergies. I'm pretty miserable this morning.
Hi team, We are waiting for your cold front, Maree! We went to a game at Nationals Stadium last night and it was 88 at 11 o'clock at night. Whew! And on top of that we lost!!
Up early this morning with coffee and some quiet time to Spark and think. Looking forward to Sunday. Am really focused on my fitness and eating goals right now. Not sure exactly why, but I'll take it! Maybe it's just easier when the weather is warm, the fruit and veggies are so great. And because there is no need to bundle up, so fewer excuses not to be active.
13K steps yesterday plus a 45 minute elliptical workout. With all that, slept well.

Good morning. Yesterday was a lot of "terrible twos". But let's move on.
Went for a run; whew it was hot! The cold front has finally moved in and it feels great. Between DH getting home from a night fishing tournament, the dogs barking at the paperboy and the cat barfing up a hairball, I might as well just get up--an early morning run sounds good. Then church and enjoying the day!!
