I've had a lack of energy yesterday and today. I made out a list and am working my way through it. Still have to pick some veggies in the garden, then I'm going to get on the stationary bike - it's too hot to go outside and ride, can you believe it?
Tomorrow, it will be 10 degrees cooler here in Michigan!
Skipped my workout yesterday. Food was really on target though. Need to get some ST done today. Playing hooky from the office and taking the girls to the pool. I really should be there this morning. Oh well. I won't die wishing I would've worked more! LOL!

Good morning team! Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and an even better weekend. Heading off to work shortly and hoping the storms hit today so the temps will drop. Am scheduled for a long run tomorrow morning, so I really need for the rains to be past by the early morning (and hopefully take some of the heat and humidity with them)! Working till 6PM and then going straight to the homeless shelter to serve dinner. It's little sis's birthday, so she will be coming in to town sometime late Saturday or Sunday to celebrate. That means Red Robin, so need to go online and figure out what I will be eating. Looking forward to this break in the heat after today - everyone be careful out there.

Self care yesterday--a hair cut! Also did Jillian Michael's Ripped workout. Am liking it a lot. It takes about a half an hour and the combo of ST and cardio leaves me feeling energized. I think I needed the change up!
Maintaining at a pound over goal pretty consistently. It's a mental game with me to want to be one pound UNDER instead. Ah, something to aim for.
Looking forward to the weekend. Going the baseball game (go Nationals!) with some friends. Have a good one, team mates!!

Trying to function on 4 hrs sleep yesterday was not pretty. I pushed thru but the drive home (only a few miles) took sheer concentration -- I see how driving drowsy is similar to DUI. After dinner I revived enough to walk briskly with DH for over an hour.
