Late check in. A little less pressure with work, since we now have everyone back from vacation. The hot weather (though not nearly what some of you have to deal with) makes it hard for me to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. Of course, drinking a half gallon of water between 4 and bedtime didn't help! Doing OK on nutrition--had calories enough for a piece of fudge last night!

I walked outside at lunch yesterday and got so pitted out that I was glad no one sat next to me on the bus home (or maybe that's why) ;-) Anyway, I had to shower before yoga. Things were so non-stop yesterday that I ended up way below my calorie limit, at least the limit calculated from the new tracker. I made the switch and have been playing with it. I checked the box saying I have a monitor synced to my Fitness tracker, but it's a Fitbit, and you know that thing credits every single step for calorie calculation, not just workouts. So it will take some playing to know whether I can REALLY eat 2300 calories based on my linked trackers. I suspect not.
HOT! HOT! HOT! Staying in as much as possible. No AC in my car either so I'll have the full sauna treatment by days end. Taking my grand kids to the park this afternoon, but not sure how long I can endure, I may change this outing to the library with AC.
Maintaining well. 122.2 today. Exercise is more iffy. I think I'm getting a routine but then it falls to the wayside in favor of mowing the lawn, pulling weeds in the garden and canning-- it is still activity.
Wiggle room on my weight! Getting consistent with exercise tipped the scales . . . in a good way~just don't think I need to lose any more--just get firm and fit!

Woke up to a STEAMY morning. Luckily, it's a day off, and had planned on going for a run, but the heat and humidity is just too much to bear on top of the pain in my feet. I will stay in and get some chores done, do some ST, prep stuff for sis' birthday this weekend and this afternoon, going to get my hair permed and then meet with the ladies for study group. Should be cooler this weekend and then Monday AM, have a podiatrist appt to try to see what can be done for the plantars faciitis.

hot here its already 75 and not even 8am. Lots of sewing today and then working in the family history center at our church. Picnic and dinner meeting later. Will be biking to the store shortly to get a little exercise.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it
Maree - I had one of those days yesterday, so I totally understand the pants fitting a little too snug. I felt bloated and miserable, and all over just blah. My new jeans were just a tad snugger than usual and that just made me mad. I feel better today after a day of eating well and ST in the evening. Jep - let us know how the new tracking system is. I was contemplating changing.
ahhh. back at the gym again. It always feels sooooo good.
In spite of parties and a Sunday evening pizza, I stayed within the weekly calorie/points limits. We had planned to take the boat out and go swimming and picnic on deck in the evening sunset. I bought fresh cool picnic food to take with us but when I got home Himself told me that one section of the pier collapsed yesterday and we can't get out to the boat. Boo Hoo. and poor Himself - who has to work in the hot muggy summer weather fixing that pier. Let's wish him some cool breezes this afternoon.
Good morning! whew it was a hot one yesterday and will be for a few days. My luncheon fitness buddy and I walked to a hospital yesterday trying to find some hallways to do our walk. At least we were moving. DH and I waited for the sun to go down before taking our evening walk. Lots of fitness minutes yesterday!
This morning I'll do 30 min elliptical and a 60 min cyclefit class at the gym.
Nutrition has been on track and my pantsuits are fitting better! This is where I need to stay and it takes vigilance, doesn't it!
