OAHarris, I've done the same a million times. You just have to try again. You can do it. One step at a time. Make this a game, where you will make a goal of staying on track for one day. Then try it for a week, etc. You can do it!! emoticon

We all been there but you don't give up. Just chalk that to your past and let's get going. Try 10 minutes of exercise a day then after awhile try increasing more. Eat your fruits and veggies and drink plenty of water. Check out the articles that they have they will help alot.

I haven't been here in a while because I can't get the hang of Maintenance. Last time, I had my plan but I got sidetrack because I was going to celebrate reaching my goal weight. One day of celebration became an entire year! Now, I'm up 25 pounds. I guess, I really should drop this team until I'm at goal once again. I'm going to visit and really take note on how others are maintaining. What's the key to maintenance? I have become an expert at dropping the weight but I'm clueless on keeping it off. I'm here to learn.

I was able to do 2 miles in 20 minutes today. Never did that before. Stamina and endurance are really getting better. Have a great evening!

Had a great day today burning 1000 kcal, partly swim, partly, run, partly bike. I also used the bike to get to a forest for the run, great bird chirp welcomed me. (See blog.)
Healthy food choices, within range.
Had 8h of sleep.
What else could I wish for? :-)
Great way to start the week! :-)

Toni, let's hear it for stubbornness! But we'll just think of it as determination. emoticon With the weekend celebration of my husband's birthday, I didn't have a balanced diet and I can feel it...and not just the two pounds of water retention! Back to better eating today.

Mandy, please send some of that unseasonably cloudy and cool to Virginia!

Really good day yesterday. Got in cardio and ST, did a LOT around the house (including filling and hauling out 3 BIG, heavy bags of junk from the basement), and cooked a healthy dinner just for me and sat down and ate it at the table...with a placemat and cloth napkin. Tee hee, I rarely cook just for me because it's easier just to nuke something.

Morning everyone! I'm still sleepy, but I need to jump right into some ST and breakfast so I can get to work at a decent time. It's deliciously cloudy here this morning - I'm hoping for rain! (I live in the desert.)

Hope you all have a positive Monday!

Will be unseasonably cool and cloudy here today and most of the week. I got up and ran 3 miles. Added some fast intervals in. I need to do that more often. Muscles are still pleasantly sore from strength training on Saturday. Still about 4 lbs over my maintenance weight due to all the summer road trips. Workouts are spot on, so I really need to watch portions and alcohol.

Everyone have a great week!

Morning all. Had a very busy weekend. 5K Saturday morning and forgot my Garmin - oops, luckily it was a race and timed though. Then, yesterday the AC went out. Managed to get it going, thank God as it is supposed to be an exceptionally hot week. Didn't track well this weekend and ate too much sugar Saturday. Again, thankfully, the scale is still holding steady, but really want to see it start heading back down toward the center/lower end of my range. Last of all, am looking at moving. Not sure if this is what I want/need to do. Prayers would be appreciated .

Good morning! Managed to stay cool with lots of swimming yesterday and last evening. Heavenly. Now back to work and a few days of that before prepping for guests coming for a week. It definitely feels like mid-summer here in VA, hot and lazy. I like hearing all the "feet in the water" stories. Just hearing them cools me off a bit.

Moving into month 10 of maintenance today and focused on the goal of being at goal or below by September. I think I am motivated by the highly unlikely statistics for maintaining for a year. I guess stubbornness has a place in my life (-:

New week, new resolve! Have a good one, friends.

hot and humid in the dairy state of wisconsin as well. Was a super weekend filled with a lot of activity including dutch oven cooking for about 600 people on Saturday. Got in plenty of exercise and water, but not a lot of calories. Today I'm heading to the Y for about 2 hrs of water exercise and then coming home and seeing if i can find my kitchen table, and clean my very cluttered house that has been forgotten with the hectic weekend. Stay cool everyone and drink lots of fluids.

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Howdy one and all. It was a muggy weekend - not really all that hot, just dank. Today it's supposed get HOT but the air is a little drier so it feels rather nice. Maree - we have spots like that up and down our river too - where boats gather and there's just enough sandy beach for a picnic.

I lay about all day yesterday, reading. This is the readingest summer I've had in decades and I'm enjoying it. I've also been working on an art project and it's almost done. Both of these are such sedentary activities - my Activelink says I was barely alive! But I've been trying to incorporate the habit of asking myself "Is This Worth The Calories" before I eat anything and I did that all day long ... and even better - all evening long.

and today it's a magic show at the library and then back to the gym afterwards. Thursday I get a 2 day mini-vacation at the beach. sweet.

Happy Monday to you all.

Got ready for an early morning run - my GPS that I run with didn't charge last night, then discovered my cell phone battery was dead. So I'll have to be flexible today. I might try to get in a run this morning, but will most likely do the treadmill because of the heat.

Working on flower beds early. Will hole up in our bedroom and maybe iron this afternoon. The bedroom is the only room in our house with a/c.

Weight was down this week - my hard work is finally paying off.

Calories in a good range, not enough walking because we drove about 200 kilometers and that meant a lot of sitting.

Good morning!

Weather map looks pretty hot this week and I'm movin slow. We didn't want to leave the river yesterday. There's a place where it's shallow and an all sand bottom and boats gather, we stand in the water, play some tunes and swap stories over a few beers. Great days of summer!

Now it's back to reality-- to the gym for 30 min cardio, 60 min strength training class.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!!
