Had a great couple of days...entertained guests last night and enjoyed my meal without over eating...walked around Lake Fayetteville with hubby this morning (5.25 miles) and then had lunch out. My weight is continuing to stabilize under 150lbs. It was 147.6 this morning which makes me happy because I need to be a bit under before leaving for Australia on August 3rd.

Late check in and got to make this quick. Clos and then had to hit the store to pick up oranges for this mornings duathalon. Didn't get hll 11:45PM and then up at 4:45 to make it to the race on time. Despite all of that and the plantars faciitis and the heat with NO shade, had my best 5K time of the year so far! Thought about doing more, since I had a sugar (cookie) overdose yesterday and needed to burn some off, but am glad I didn't because I got home and CRASHED for an hour before showering and now getting ready to head out the door for another 2-11 shift and back up at 5AM. I NEED A DAY OFF TO SLEEP IN - aanybody want a couple of dogs for a day?

Yesterday was a great day! I ran 4 miles (following the sparkpeople 10K training plan), went to the office for a bit, took the girls to the pool, and then DH and I played cards. Weight is down a little this morning. Need to get some strength training done today and will probably go for a walk. I also have a lot of housework that needs my attention. If I get a lot done I will probably reward myself with another day at the pool!

Today's my husband's birthday It's already sunny, so we should have great weather for our biplane flight. In spite of the big celebratory meal last night (chicken fried steak), my weight it down a tick this morning.
Good morning, team. Lots of Saturday stuff going on with all of us! I am getting into my kayak for real this morning, because yesterday we were rained out. Also my neighborhood book group meets--this time on a dock.
12 k steps yesterday. I did switch to new tracker. Not sure I like it. Says I can eat a lot more cals, which I know is not so for me. Wonder how it will impact new Sparkers.

We're getting a day of better summer weather too. I will spend it driving, though - to a wedding shower for a cousin's daughter and a visit with my mother in the nursing home. Still plotting out my eating strategy so that I can have a good time and stay within my eating range. Not sure how I'll fit in any serious exercise but I can get in a 2 mile walk with the dogs before I go.

Good morning. I can't get back to sleep so here I am.
DH, a friend and I went for a great boat ride last night ( in the fishing boat) and set a bunch of lines. It was a beautiful sunset across the warm water (81 degrees). Crossing my fingers for a big flathead (a type of catfish we call the lobster of the Mississippi )!!
Planning a 3 mi run today. Maybe some swimming too. Some relaxing, for sure. Weight is at low range ;)). I'm kinda proud to have maintained for over 2 yrs. My RIPPED instructor gave me some great ab work to do so that is on agenda.
