I walked the dogs six times today. I washed the bathroom and kitchen floors then opened the windows to dry them. It was awesome less humidity today and in the 70s. Best wishes on having a great day. Linda from bean town
I'm still feeling exhausted. I think it is just from the virus I had. Work has also been busy...go full speed all day and there is still more work to do at the end of the day than there was at the beginning. I got an order of fudge in the mail yesterday. It is made by monks in Oregon and they just started making it with my favorite hazelnuts. The good thing is, it is so rich that I can be satisfied with a small piece. Weight is doing OK but I need to cut back on the sodium.

Good morning team! Don't think I'll ever adjust to this crzy work schedule - 20+ years of back and forth mornings, mids, and evening (sometimes as late as 11PM) and it STILL drains me. I am learning, however, to not turn to food to sooth myself (at least all of the time). On top of the crazy schedule which is very night heavy this week, it has been exceptionally rainy, hot and humid. Had a good ST workout yesterday and had planned to go for a run this morning at 9AM, but with temps already in the 80's and the humidity like it is, I opted out and will do a little stretching and some ST before work today and then tomorrow (day off) have my run/walk with the transitional/homeless group and hopefully it won't be too bad and I can get in some extra miles. Tomorrow night is my Drills and Hills class, so, if I don't get in the extra miles in the AM, I'll go early and do them there.

With summer finally here, and the temps just right, I've been "spring cleaning".. that is washing all the household heavier items like blankets, duvet covers, etc and line drying them all. I sure love the smell of those fresh lined dried blankets and sheets..
Next it's shampoo the carpets that I have, and thank goodness I don't have many!.. and then of course squeeze in all the necessary exercise and make sure I keep all activity in balance so I don't end up making my arthritis flare up too much!!

today is a off day for me so will get in a easy walk and maybe a bike ride later. Lots of walking and steps today as i get ready for a mega busy weekend that requires lots of prep stuff. Have a great one everyone.

alas - I finished the week with a calorie/points overload, though I surprised myself with the amount of activity I got in durng a sloth week.
ah well. I begin again. And I'll start with my favorite - a green smoothie.1 cup V8Fusion Lite in strawberry/banana flavor, 1/2 cup fat free vanilla almond milk, 1 cup frozen spinach, a squeeze of grated ginger and 1 frozen banana. Utter bliss on a summer morning.
Today it's the stationary bike and strength training after work.

Good morning! We are in the midst of a humid heat wave which is not so conducive to extra walks outside. I worked till 6 pm and wanted to go to the grocery store, go for a walk with DH and brought work home. I was too tired and DH didn't want to walk in the heat. I gave in to what my body needed and went to bed at 8:30.
I'm heading to the gym for 30 min cardio and 60 min Pilates class.
