Well, we had a wonderful family dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse. I ate a bit past full, but I could have done worse. Weight up a pound and a half from yesterday, but it's temporary. Today we're going to a housewarming for one of my husband's coworkers. I am really shy in those situations and I tend to eat because I have no one to talk to, but I'm going to try not to do that today. Still taking it easy and trying to get really well. I am singing for two church services tomorrow, so I don't want to be coughing. Have a wonderful weekend!

had a good week overall even with the holiday in there. Went over on exercise and under on calories so i am feeling pretty good about the week. Took the grandson to the shooting range yesterday for the first time and got lots of exercise checking the targets after every 5 shots. He is going to be a good little shooter. Was impressed on how well he did and how well he followed all the safety rules. Maybe i'll soon have a little hunting partner.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it
No chance to get in any exercise yesterday so I made sure I walked everywhere I had to go - that included the Wine on the Water fundraiser held at a little park down by the river. It's for the local free clinic and it's the first one I've had a chance to go to in a long time. The town I work in is very small but it has something fun to do almost every weekend.
The town fireworks were last night and not even in town but held across the river in our neighboring little town (think 2,500 people). I had had enough of fireworks though so I didn't stay for them. Instead, came home and shared tofu stir fry with Himself. went pretty far over the top with calories/points - but tracked every single one of them. Still not over the weekly limit and not likely to be, before Tuesday. Whew.
I have to work today - so I wish everyone ELSE a delicious active Saturday filled with the things you like to do. Me? werk werk werk that's all I do.

Good morning! Rooftop fireworks sound fun. I tend to fall asleep soon after 8:30 these days, so I only saw fireworks on the news (and of course, that included the tragic accident that occurred).
Our best intentions to workout didn't happen yesterday and DD had DH and me working on all kinds of projects around her house (fixing the mower, mowing the lawn, transplanting sunflowers, chopping down overgrown bushes, measuring for this and for that ...). My "water" fix consisted of my granddaughter's little pool...we had fun, though. Today we are heading to the Katie Trail right after the baby has breakfast for a run and fun.
DD made us a great southwestern salad for dinner last night. I indulged in a s'more at the fire too--it's been a long time and it was yummy. Today I will stick to the basics.
Good morning! Felt like a real Spark-er yesterday. 17K steps and I made the Spark recipe for crab and asparagus crepes. Yum and my husband, well let me just say he's never seen a pancake, French or American, he didn't think was divine!
And Maree, I've noticed that too: lots of water loving folks here! Getting in sure takes the heat out of a humid day and body. We took a dip after a walk yesterday and it really did wonders.
We have fireworks here tonight. Our own children and grands are all over the country this year so we will be on the roof with our neighbors grands. Ah, summertime.
