Yes me too, I also gained but still in range. I am eating at the top of the range. I am eating lots of fruits and vegetables. I am eating less proteins because of the heat. I do not feel like eating very much. I am drinking more water, diet soda, and milk. I walked both dogs three times today. I am sweating a lot just by going outside. Up again! I think I need to change the thought.......
I am burning off 500 Cal's. An hour with Zumba, 6 hours a week. I come out of class VERY drained & extremely hungry. I am eating within the top of my calories & very good for me foods. Yes I am getting more toned, but I do not like being 5# above goal. Not sure what I will do at this point. I,m not giving up on me..... I've come to far & feel to great for that! I just wish the scale would get back to my reality! emoticon

Good morning team!

We had a blast yesterday. Mom and the in-laws came over as well as a friend of DH's, along with girlfriend and her two kids. About the same age as my two and they played and played. We ate and did fireworks. I drank way too much :/

I have my workout clothes on and will do a Pump dvd here in a few minutes. The girls are up and are whining for breakfast.

I am not where I wannbe and I am not where I should be. The weekend snacking is what's doing it to me. I have to stop that. Plus I am missing out on breakfast this last past week. Not eating until lunch or maybe dinner. Have to get back on schedule.

I'm right at goal, which isn't where I prefer to be, so something has to be done. I think my real downfall is the evening snack--it seems to be an addiction lately. It's just Quakes and fat-free Cool Whip, but sometimes I add a granola bar to it. And yesterday I went overboard (for me) and had a burger with cheese PLUS a hot dog, plus chips and cheesy bean dip at a cookout. No rolls with the meat, but all that is way out of bounds for me. Time for food vacation to end!

Rest day today. But I'm exceedingly proud of myself because I've run a personal record breaking distance of 23k this week, so far. And have encouraged a group of young adults to begin running & living a healthy lifestyle. It's fantastic seeing the glow on people's faces after they've accomplished something good for themselves that they never thought possible! What a joy! And what a privilege to be a part of!

We had a low key holiday, having lunch with my Mom and then going to a movie. I did OK on nutrition until I made the mistake of opening a bag of pretzel pieces. Today is a celebration eating day and I'm doing what you aren't supposed to...I'm eating a good sized breakfast and then skipping lunch (I will have a grapefruit) so I'm good and hungry for dinner. I will eat what I want at the Brazilian steakhouse but will stop when I'm full...not when I'm over full!

Quick check in. Hurrying out the door for work and then right after picking up the out of town guests and sister to take them out for dinner. Tomorrow they want to go into the city and want me to join in, but going to have to see what the schedule looks like. Need to get to the gym tomorrow AM and then long training run on Sunday before church.

As for yesterday, stayed in range, even with the white chocolate macadamia cookie. Took the family to the fireworks show last night and had a little home popped popcorn and some watermelon, chicken burger and salads and grilled veggies for dinner. Pretty happy with that.

Happy day after. I'm hitting the reset button today. Two days of celebrating equaled epic failure on nutrition but it was fun and now it's done. Back to work and back on track.

DH and I rode our motorcycles with the Lions club in a local 4th of July parade then had some people back at the house for a BBQ. We were both asleep before the fire works last night!

Heading outside for a walking break on the path here at work.

Happy Friday! I did some working out last week and the beginning of this weekend when I was on vacation, but getting back into my normal workout routine has been kicking my butt a little! On the other hand, feeling a little bit of a challenge isn't a bad thing! Anyway, time to make breakfast and do Taebo. Have a great day all!

Good Morning! I had a wonderful 4th and no it wasnt a healthy one. I did get a run in yesterday but not enough to burn all of the calories I consumed. I'll just have to work harder this weekend to burn them off.

Howdy team mates!!!

I find it interesting that so many of my friends here love the water--swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing... I missed being on my river yesterday, but enjoyed the party. We had some folks playing banjo, mandolin, bass, guitar and singing, in addition to a parade and lots of yummy food and socializing. I feel asleep before the fireworks.

Another day off today, with DH, DD and granddaughter. I think it will include a run or some exercise of some kind.

Good morning. I never did get out in the canoe - I was captured by a Michael Connelly mystery, LOL. I did take the dogs out for a walk in the a.m. and took another with Himself in the afternoon. No cooking for me yesterday - it was scrounge for yourself thursday. In the evening, though, we went to a neighbors' house where their 12 year old son shot off some pretty impressive yard fireworks.

Back to werk for me today and tomorrow.

Calories a bit over - this is happening too much, and is because we're camping and I don't want to cook. So too many sandwiches and easy food. Not junk, just not the healthiest options.

Got in a walk today, even though we drove about 200 km.

Good morning! Great to read everyone's posts this am to begin my day. We watched Capital 4th last night as our local fireworks are Saturday. It looked like a gorgeous night in Washington DC.

I am glad to be home on water to kayak and swim today. Ah, summertime!
