Went to the grocery store and parked way away from the store. Went to three stores and did the same thing. Came home fixed my lunch and then went outside and worked in the yard. Getting ready to cook dinner.
Hi All, I had a hair dresser Appointment this morning and walked the dogs twice. I took Mom to the super market and put away all the groceries. I made the breakfast and lunch. I have to walk the dogs again then fix dinner. Best wishes to all, Linda from bean town

I've been in Falls Church, Va since Monday and still surviving! Already ran into a former staff member of mine who didn't recognize me! He said it was great to see half of me! I still can't understand that.
I'm riding daily challenges with my mom. I'm also dealing with the aging process of a stroke victim, the realization of cancer, and it's collateral damage. I have a higher respect for my sister as mom's prime caregiver. At the same time, we need to focus on maintaining our healthy lifestyle and staying in the positive. I'm helping my sis to realize what she has to do in that area. It ain't easy, that's for sure. But we all get stronger in the process! Be strong, focused, and enjoy life!

Well, I'm a little late, but wanted to drop by. I did Taebo this morning and had a good breakfast. I had to dress up today for a professional luncheon and have gotten a lot of compliments today. My total calories for the week is up from normal, but my total calories burned from my workouts is higher than normal this week too, so I'm not too worried about it.
Busy day today. Playing hooky from the office to take the girls to the pool. It's cloudy out now, but should clear up soon. Working a fundraiser for Rotary for a few hours this evening. Then DH and I will play cards this evening.
I got a walk in this morning and am contemplating some strength training before we leave for the pool. Weight is trying to creep down a little from my vacation gain.

Yesterday, did not exercise but did some house work and yard work. Not much to scorch calories, but better than sitting in front of the TV. I did walk 2 miles during lunch, so I was not a total lay-about yesterday. Today my mother-in-law is coming to town right after I finish work, so I might not get my run in today either.

Happy Solstice, all! Beautiful day here in Virginia and actually cool this morning. I wished for a jacket as I waited for the train after just missing one. Going to a wine dinner tonight and really looking forward to it.

Good morning - Got to bed early last night, but didn't fall soundly asleep for hours. Not as tired though as the past couple of days. Looks like today is going to be a scorcher. Very appropriate for the first day of summer.
Weight up a smidge today, but still under the middle of the goal range . It's been a long time since I've been able to say THAT!
Just missed getting in my 10K steps yesterday. Got a new phone earlier this week and it has a pedometer that reports my steps. Yesterday was the first time that I missed getting 10K steps this week and not by much. Only missed by around 500 or so and since I don't have my phone on ALL day, I may have mad it anyway.
Well, going to be a busy day - hope everyone enjoys their first day of summer!

doozy of a thunderstorm hitting us right now so that puts the Y workout on hold as the pools are closed during thunder and lightening. Hoping to get the workout in, i really need it. Getting ready to leave for boyscout camp on Sunday and that will truely screw up my workouts for the week as well as food choice. I am taking some good stand bys with me for meals when i just can't have the food. Good thing about camp is lots of walking the trails for exercise. Everyone have a great friday.

DD arrived and we all went to the County Fair, the baby's first. We rode some rides and saw Little Big Town perform; they were great! But only 5 hrs of sleep. The four of us shared one funnel cake mmmmmmm.
Headed to gym for 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class.
