It was a healthy food day with a small indulgence. Still tracking everyday since I am at the first stage of maintenance, only been two months. Going on vacation on Saturday for a week and Ii want to have a good time, but this will be the true test for me as I try to navigate without cooking my recipes everyday. Will keep you posted.

Good morning everyone! I splurged a little yesterday when I was out on the town with my dad, but I rarely do that and have stayed up on my physical activity, so I'm not too worried about it. I'm back with my usual nutrition program today and did some HIIT this morning as well. Have a great day everyone!
Walked/ran a total of 5 miles yesterday. I like when I get a whole hour of lunch because I can squeeze in a 2 mile walk. Hubby suggested either tennis or bike ride for tonight. Let's not hold our breath that he actually does either of them. His excuses not to exercise are abundant.

Good morning, all (or good afternoon or good evening, depending on where you are).
Yesterday I had ST, then went to the grand opening of our area's first nano-brewery (smaller batches, more frequent new offerings than a microbrewery). We were customers 1 and 2 since DH got there early to start the line. We sampled only their brown, and the line was too long to go back through and fill a growler, so we went home and pulled a good barrel-aged stout from our wine/beer cellar to have with dinner.
This morning I got a good start with a stretch & flex class (mini yoga session without the sun salutations) and will go back for a cardio/body sculpt class. These are for the group exercise bingo program the work gym is offering.
DH and I had a nice evening. He made a great spaghetti dinner. I tried to keep the portion low but he makes an awesome meat sauce! I took the dog for her walk, then we went for a 40-min bike ride to knock off a square on this month's health challenge card at work.
Then I did two spark people upper body videos while watching the Blackhawks game. I burned a LOT of calories watching the game AND working upper body muscles. I slept HARD last night.

Kept a good focus on things this week and am comfortably in goal range. I tend to stay a pound above rather than a pound below though. Hmmmmmm Think I may try to see what that below range feels like?
Have had two days to catch up on details and it's elevating my spirits to see my desk clean, kitchen reasonably in shape. Made Salad Nicoise last night--the classic one with tuna. It's such a nice summer meal.

Today is my Friday since I'm taking tomorrow off to play with my young cousins. the distraction of guests is an interesting experience as I find myself unable to think about food, my next meal, and what sort of snacks are in the house. Daily weigh-ins are consistently good, though. Between 148 and 152 = the famous 2 pound spread.
Ah - and the little white dog is begging me to take her for a walk. Off I go!

Slept pretty well and will head out for long walk with fitness buddy here in a few minutes. DD and the babe will be here later :)) so I had to mop kitchen etc last night. All I really wanted to do was sleep. Unfortunately I resorted to an old habit -- eating for energy. That never works, only means extra unneeded calories. Next time I'll listen to my body, go to sleep and just get up earlier to get the chores done.
