Your blog definitely touched upon issues that many of us have experienced and I'm so glad that we were able to feature it. Thanks so much for sharing your insights with us!

My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since. Had a baby at the end of April 2016 and am working to get back to my pre baby form, or at least as close to it as I realistically can!

So glad you didn't revert to the old ways -- you won the battle!!!

I have let others sabotage me in the past and hurts no one but me! thought about your comments (blog) today and how people, although well meaning, can influence someone--positively or negatively. Thankfully, you were strong and determined to stay the course.

My sister made the same (death warmed over) comment to me -- ironically, she was the same weight I was and I found it interesting how she felt she was OK and I was not. What people don't always realize with extreme weight loss is that sometimes it takes a while for our skin, muscles, etc. to firm up and look reasonably normal.

I've also wondered why 'they' didn't make a big deal about my weight when I was 275? Then, I always got the 'You look fine" comments or the "Here, have another brownie".

You just have to suit yourself and if you are aiming at being healthy, and not just super skinny, you will be fine. I have found that my last 10 lbs.--the 10 lb that seemed to bring about the comments--has been the best 10 of the whole process! I feel better than ever, more energetic too, plus I finally, actually like the size I see in the mirror.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

SW: 275-276 Ht. 5'6"
GW: 135 (goal range: 130-140)
CW: WAS 124.7 NOW: 143.5
My focus is health AND fitness! And LOSING 10 lbs. again!

I just want to say emoticon to all you sent me goodies and left comments on my blog. It was a surprise and an honor to be featured by the team. I didn't expect it, I was just sounding off to my friends. It really was amazing to find out that so many experienced the same thing. I know she didn't mean to hurt me. I did talk to her and told her that her comments bothered me. She apologized and told me she just didn't want me losing more weight so she said something. She thought if she said I looked sick I wouldn't lose anymore weight.
