Today I met with my pastor's son and did my missionary work. Then had a doctor's appointment at 3:00 and got out at 4:30. He wanted to know if I wanted an injection in the knee. He pressed on the knee joint to see where the pain was coming from and although when I walk I feel it below the knee I "Ouched" when he pressed on the joint.
I told him the injections didn't work before so he gave me a prescription for an ointment.
I was so tired when I got home. Ate supper and watched the voice then went to bed at 8:00 slept some but got up at 10:00 feeling much better.

30 minute walk this evening with most of it up hill, so feeling good about that. Otherwise a slow day for me. MWF are my big heavy work out days.

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

An amazing day of low cloud and rain that ended with bright skies despite the weather forecast. Went walking in the clouds, the sun burst forth part way through and then I got drenched in a downpour. By the time I got home, the sun was shining again.
A little like my mood today....realize I am tired and a little more susceptible today. May just need to stop working and read my book for a few moments to shift gears....a lot of pressure projects on the go and find myself compulsively attacking them so need to take a different approach.

Frustrating day in regards to my boys. They didn't make the best choices last night. My Iliotibial Band has been giving my problems so I haven't ran since my race on Saturday. If the weather holds out tonight, I'm going to do an "easy run."

Good Morning

Today is a walk with my elderly neighbour and Bessy, my trusty border collie.. It's also stationary bike day and I'll need to walk and peddle fast to warm up!! What a cool June we are having!!

I decided to lower my goal to 110 after almost 6 months of being at a lower weight and being able to keep it off. Those nasty GERD attacks are what seems to curb the appetite the most though.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Toni's right...Virginia is pretty soggy today. Glad the tornadoes passed us by, but too bad they hit Maryland.

Morning everyone! I had a great relaxing day yesterday via an unplanned day off of work. I'm back at it today, but feel good about it. Just about to do some HIIT and have breakfast. I'm eating out for lunch today, but have been there before and have a tentative plan of what I'm getting - fortunately, there is veggie sushi on the menu there.

Hello all! Way to go Nancy! Michelle, I hope you feel better as the day goes on.

I'm still a bit sore from the gardening and workout on Sunday. I've got four days to feel better for the Warrior Dash and then I'll be sore for a few days again but it will be worth it.

I'm eyeing a 10K in November. I think I could be ready by then, just have to bite the bullet and register.

Up and preparing for work, then to a visitation for the mother of a friend and then for a run. Get to sleep in a little tomorrow, but then have to take my sis to the hospital for a procedure before I go in to work to close. Got a short run in yesterday, then did a bunch of chores around the house, some grocery shopping and got my phone traded in. My, how technology moves ahead! It is going to take me the next two years just to get used to the new phone. Oh, well, it will give me something else to do to occupy my precious little "free" time.

Saw another some dip on the scale today. BIG congrats to you, too, Nancy. It sure takes a long time to see the pounds drop at this point. Oh, but what a reason to give thanks and celebrate!

Yay Nancy for the lost pounds. Hope they never get found again. Congratulations to your DH, Maree - and wow lucky you to get 90 minutes at the gym. I never seem to get much more than an hour there. How green is your garden, Toni? Mine is ... very green and wet. There was a touch of blue sky this morning when I got up but it's clouded over now. I'm not exactly sorry for the rain but .... i am ready for some sunshine.

My schedule is all out of whack this week and next week too - the joys of summertime. I'll get my strength training session with WthePT this morning instead of Thursday - then on Thursday I teach a class at work. And next week I'll have two little girls staying with me - we will get all our exercise outdoors.

Stayed well within my calorie range yesterday.

Good morning! Been awake since 4, showered, considered a walk, but don't feel exactly well this morning--just a little headache so far--I hope that's all and that it will go away soon.
Weight is slightly below goal, and eating has been all healthy stuff :)

Yesterday was good for me. I'm down 2 lbs of the 4.5 that I was up after my vacation. Funny how quickly I can gain and how slowly it goes off!

I did my workout dvd yesterday and I'm super sore today, but still going to try for a morning run. I'm also focusing on doing some sort of strength training several times a week to rebuild some muscle.

Gospel meeting all week, so I have to get my steps in early.

Good morning! I'm headed to gym for 90 min--30 treadmill, 60 min cycle fit or Pilates, if instructor has returned. DH is going to a class at 6:00 am that I didn't even know about!

I had a good Monday--felt like I got a lot done with less interruptions. Nutrition was within range and I have a tracking streak of over a week going! It works!
