Just back after 6 days of vacation. Lots of sun and fresh air!! Made sure to get a walk in every day and to track my food intake as best I could. Seems like I maintained or at least the scale says so!!! Yoga spin class and long walk today as well as back to the nutrition tracker. Also...back to work so am fully immersed again!!

Slowly catching up again from my 4 day technology break:) I love those breaks--but I love getting back too:) Weight is still in range--slightly below goal, and I'm doing well eating well without tracking :) Ran in the Komen Quad Cities Race for the Cure this past Saturday--weather was beautiful, and I got to spend the morning with my beautiful best girlfriend!

Calories a tiny bit high but still in range, walked almost 10,000 steps despite trying to do less. I'm not good at not walking, despite limping on my inflamed hip joint. Ah well, hopefully it will heal.

Morning everyone! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm doing some core ST before breakfast this morning. In general, I'm staying on target with my program, and I feel like I am maybe getting into a groove with finding a good maintenance calorie range (knock on wood!). Have a great day all!

I am SORE today. I did a lot of gardening yesterday. DH usually helps but he's been fighting a cold so three hours of planting flowers and then I did the SP 28 day bootcamp DVD....12 minute cardio burst and 30 min total body. OY VEY!
I need a rest day today. Did not sleep well at all.
Nancy where were you camping.... I live in Cadillac...
Not a good week for me... up 3 pounds.... gotta get back on track this week....
One awesome note.... beat my personal record Saturday at the 5k.... I did a 30:37 and got second place for my age group.... getting closer to my goal of under 30 minutes by end of summer...

Back from a week of camping with the grandchildren. We camped in the upper section of the lower peninsula of Michigan and it was cold! I didn't get in much activity and ate a lot of processed foods, plus didn't track. The scales went up an additional 4.5 lbs, so now I'm WAY over my personal goal. I'm still in a healthy BMI, but I'm working hard to get those numbers down a bit by the fourth of July.
It's a rainy Monday here and we desperately need the rain. I'll be doing my Bob Harper DVD this morning and I might get on the exercise bike later today.
We are having a Gospel Meeting at our church congregation this week. Yesterday was a potluck and singing - I barely made 3,000 steps. But it was a good day.
Going back this evening, so I best get busy with my to do list!
Welcome home, Toni - congratulations on traveling and staying on track at the same time. Hello everyone else too.
Finally got in the spare room and began the excavation project. How DOES so much clutter and junk breed when the door is shut? Pulled out my old aerobics step and did a great 30 minute workout as a reward for all that decluttering. I really enjoy step and wish my gym was having a class for it but at least I can do it on my own. I put on different CDs and let the change of tempo of random songs change my exertion.
And now it's Monday again. Monday Monday - can you trust that day?
Good morning! Feet on the ground after 10 days of travel. Held my own with food and exercise but looking forward to simpler living for a few days. Oh, and back to work!! Have a wonderful week, team mates!
Toni Go slow to go fast. Maintaining since September 15, 2012
I'm headed to the gym for 30 min cardio and 60 min ST class. I know we are starting out with walking lunges. My goal is to do these more often so that I do not experience so much soreness each time we do them.
Yesterday was a good day--the whole family attended church, great sermon (love our new pastor!), we visited some favorite family members, I spent a lot of time outside with DGD, and DH and I walked the dogs after DD and DGD left to ease the "empty nest" feeling after DD and DGD leave. Calories within range.
