My weight was up to 107.5 this morning and I'm happy about it!!! I was getting too far below goal. My digestive upset seems to have eased off the past 3 days and that makes eating easier and more pleasurable. It's hard to eat when I get symptoms of GERD really bad.
Not eating wheat and not drinking coffee or tea is going well, both over 2 weeks now. I notice the difference in the no coffee with better sleep I'm not sure if not eating wheat is doing anything dramatic for me though. I'll give it 6 weeks before I re-evaluate that one.

That sounds like a way to cope with cruise food . My friend often cruises and puts 7lbs on each time. I am going away this weekend just a few days but will be out of routine re food, I plan to make the best choices I can and not eat just because it is there. Ree
Don't like biting bugs! They sure like me, though. We're leaving on our cruise today. I'm taking a tracking break. My eating strategy for this trip is, "If it's not really yummy, don't eat it!" I won't deny myself good food, but I'm going to try not to eat mediocre food just because it's there.
Calories are toward the top of my range, but I walked 16,000+ steps so that probably burned off anything extra.
After walking all over and booking a camper van, we went to a movie so I could rest my hip. (Saw an ER dr two days ago, found out I have arthritis causing inflammation, and supposed to be resting. Yeah, sure.)

Just getting a slower start to the day. Thankfully not with a headache today. Going to get in some upper body and abs ST, pay some bills, do some organizing today before work, The wieght is continuing to drop a little everyday after the carb loading from last weekends races. Nearly back to the center of my goal range. Have a good Friday and hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

today is a rest day for me.... no running as I will be doing my 4th 5k of the season tomorrow.... really want to get my time under 31 minutes... so far my best time is 31;21
went to do another segment of the c25k last night.... had to pump myself up mentally to do it... it was an early shift for me at work 8-8 instead of 9-9 so I walked 10 minutes from hospital to park and then started my segment... it was supposed to be walk 5 minutes and jog for 25... longest jog of my life.... guess what... 20 minutes into the jog I had to take a crap and it wasn't gonna let me hold it..... luckily park has restrooms but meant I couldn't complete the segment... so bummed

Did a new ST workout yesterday - all traps and deltoids. Not as exhausting as working the big muscles - but totally new and invigorating. Wish I'd had time for some cardio though because I was blindsided by a chicken sandwich that was smothered in cheese, during lunch at a new restaurant. I cut it in half immediately and boxed that half but I still think the sandwich came in at about the same caloric total as a Big Mac. LOL. Yeah. It was good. No. Won't do that again.
Good morning! Off to the gym for 30 min elliptical an 60 min RIPPED. Last night while sitting outside with family and friends I was bitten by a buffalo gnat on my hand between my fingers. The itch kept me awake and became swollen. I used benedryl cream and pills and it finally stopped itching about 3 am. Ugh! Still swollen. Be careful out there!!
