I am not exactly a daily contributor..... Was frustrated at not being able to exercise, so downloaded a couple of yoga dvds, which I can do even when off colour. Doctor was too tactful to express agreement with my diagnosis of acute hypochondria, and says its post viral neurasthenia and will pass in its own good time. So this month I shall not feel obliged to do anything more strenuous than yoga. I now do waking energy in the morning, and my energy level seems to be increasing, and yin yoga before bed, and during the few days I have been doing that, I have had no sleeping problems, even the night after I had dared to drink a late afternoon coffee! This is incredible progress! Today I went to see the Friendly policeman at the immigration office, so grabbed breakfast on the hoof, home made protein bar and almond raisin ball and banana. Ended up with four veg instead of five and only three grains, but lots of fruit. Thats OK once in a while!
Hey, running after the ball is more exercise than just standing there and hitting it back! It's my last workday before a 2 1/2 week vacation. It's starting to seem real, we got our cabin assignment today! I've got lots to do before we leave. Meeting tonight with the cat sitter. I'm getting to the age when I worry more about something happening to our parents while we're away than worrying about my feline dependents.
I'm back on the weight loss bandwagon, trying to really watch what I eat and get back to exercise. Rest is really important as I haven't been sleeping well for the past few months. I feel hopeful though.

Working on getting a few pounds back on and up a bit this morning. It's been difficult to eat more with the gastric attacks I've been dealing with, but hopefully that will resolve itself soon. 2 full weeks with no coffee today!! I don't feel like I'm addicted to it anymore as all the withdrawal symptoms have gone and I'm starting to sleep better also.
Okay going to try to remember my post that didn't post. Good day yesterday as I tracked all if my nutrition and stated within range. I divided the almonds into serving size baggies to avoid overeating
I ran treadmill 30 min and did the cycle fit class for 60 min at gym this morning.
Congrats to all you long distance runners! You are inspiring me to new goals. All you vacationers, especially you boaters are inspiring me to schedule some vacation time too and forgo the resentful attitude that comes with working too much.
DH continues his health kick. He bought a used bow flex last night! Smile!
quick check here too - forgot my ActiveLink monitor yesterday but I did get in 30 min. of cardio at the gym and ate within my points/calories. Weigh-in today. Think I'm good but ... fingers still crossed. LOL

good morning.. i have a full day ahead of me.... first I have a work meeting from 1030-1230
then I want to get a run in before I meet my trainer at 2
then I have to go to Traverse City for a support group meeting and be there by 530. (its at least an hour drive if not 90 minutes.)

It worked, I went for a 6month medical and medication check today. I was weighed fully clothed with shoes on.i was about 5 lbs heavier than I am on my own scale with out clothing or foot wear. I assume that's about right! I am wondering how accurate my own scales are!?
Good morning, Maree, and all of our mates who follow. I woke up in Chicago this morning where we are visiting family. It's a beautiful day and I'm looking forward to some great outdoor time. There is talk of biking, but biking or walking it's a great day to be outside.
