not a good day yesterday.... no exercise unless you count a couple hours working on the flower bed..... thinking about runnung yet today but its kinda chilly out.... we will see.... I am still 3.6 goal weight but it is coming down.... this week will be getting in more running to get ready for my 4th 5k of season Saturday.... really want that time under 30...
Made a vegetable /ham/chickpea stew today so I can eat tthat all week.... gonna also make a antipasta salad with olives, black beans. cukes. peppers and turkey pepperoni italian dressing... between those 2 that will be my week of lunches...

Morning everyone! I'm trying to enjoy my weekend and kick back a little. I am going to get some cooking projects started and then do some Taebo, but after that, I'd like to just relax and have fun. My weight's been all over the place, but hopefully I'll have some kind of maintenance input/output routine figured out soon. Have a great day!

Sounds like the weekend has been both successful and challenging. I confess I had a blowout yesterday. After a good 10K volksmarch, I sat through an interminable meeting, then tried to get home fast so I could do a thorough tick check and shower off the sweat. An accident tied up traffic for awhile, but I finally got home. Then I went to a cask tapping event to get a very late lunch/early dinner, followed by a stop at Winestyles to send off my favorite sommelier and his partner on their next adventure. Then home, where I ate the rest of my "early dinner" and raided the fridge...repeatedly. Glad DH is home today. I do so much better when he is here.
It's the last day of my vacation and I feel like I'm just now getting into that kick-back feeling. It's been an interesting week with some surprises, some disappointments (not NEARLY enough exercise!) and some sense of satisfaction. Not sure what I'll do today - maybe go out on the river - it's still going to be in the 90's, though we might get some storms in the afternoon. I actually hope we do since we haven't had a drop of rain in over a week and it's been hot hot hot.
I've spent a LOT of time in close proximity to my refrigerator, though, and I'm amazed at how well I've done, resisting its siren song. Dozens of times a day I will ask myself "Do you really want that? Is it worth the points? the calories?" and have been able to walk away from the kitchen. This is probably the most important thing that's happened over my whole vacation.
I'll have to check in with my School Marm Left Brain and my Wild Child Right Brain and see what they think/feel.
Good morning, gosh it's early to be up after closing last night at work. Starting to think that scheduling two races on a weekend that I won't wasn't such a good idea, but, I'm hoping that I will feel more refreshed once I have coffee and the sun comes up. Tracking was not too good yesterday and I know that the cookies at work last night were not the best choice for "carb loading". Going to try to keep it in better check today and this coming week. Tomorrow will be a challenge with my long awaited ladies grou[ get together.
Doing a plank challenge with some running friends that has me stopping a couple/few times during the day to do a plank and working our way up to 3 mins at a time (hopefully) through the week.
Going to hate recording my weight this morning for the challenge, but, at least within range and after today, no reaces for a few weeks. I'll be happy to be able to concentrate on just tracking, eating clean, fitness and getting my weight down to the lower end of my range.

Headed north after worship services today for a few days of camping. We will be taking 2 grandsons with us and going to Mackinac Island for one of the days. We'll ride our bikes all over the place, since no cars are allowed on the Island.
Then we're headed down to another state park where there's a really good bike trail.
Good morning!! I'm feeling a lot of pride today about running the 5k yesterday. We ran in light rain and had respectable times of 33:04 (me) and 34:28 (DH, DD and babe in stoller). We all felt good after the race. Not bad for having just started running 2weeks ago! I'm not sure what our workout will consist of today. We talked about a rest from running and doing some HIIT.
DH mixed up breakfast sausage from ground turkey for us this morning. He grilled kabobs for us last night. Nutrition was good :)) but not fully tracked :((. I plan to spend some time on the Team page reading links to maintaining for a refresher.
