Was travelling today, was tired, but in the end, I decided to go out and run. I'm happy I did it. My food choices were good to excellent, I'm happy for this. An area to improve could be: more planning ahead for my meals.

today was a good day sort of....

100 modified pushups
100 dumbells (20#) rows right arm

and a 2 mile walk with a friend

downside i am less than 600 calories for the day but i am not hungry

I hear you as far as the hot weather. It was hot when I walked this morning. But I am going this evening with hubby. In the gym on treadmill, bike and did a few more strength.

You all are inspiring me today! I did not walk this morning because I needed to take care of some work tasks early, then wait for two companies to show up to do work at the house. By then, it was too hot. I'll walk at the grocery store later (Wegmans is HUGE) and try for a neighborhood walk in late afternoon to get my steps in.

emoticon . Just got my 1hour and 15 minutes walk in. It was hot. Was planning on getting out there before the sun came up. Going to jump rope after lunch. Walk with hubby this evening.

It's massage therapy for me this morning and then maybe stationary bike this afternoon.

No coffee still going well.. day 9 now and I'm pretty much over withdrawal and last night slept well.. that doesn't happen often, so maybe it's helping!

Last night I discovered that I'd spaced out on paying a bill. I swore, I cried, but I didn't bury my head in the refrigerator! Weight up a bit anyway, but Thursday is usually my high for the week anyway. 4 more work days until vacation. emoticon

Sydney has wonderful food, so I ate more than I should have today (about 200 calories over my range max) - but I also walked about 11,000 steps, so I'm not too mad at myself. And I'll make better choices tomorrow.

Morning!

Today is going to be another active one-heading to our church this morning to clean the nursery areas (I volunteer to do this twice a month)-this is a pretty good workout!

Then the rest of the day will be continuing to deep clean our house-the plan is to tackle my kids bedrooms-a very big, messy project lol.

If I can fit it in I'll do a brisk 2 mile walk later today.

Then tonight I'm cleaning out our sail boat-hoping to get it out in the slip tomorrow night emoticon

Good moing all - a little tired this morning. Had a productive day ending with a nice run with a running buddy (2+ miles) and then a 45 min "Hills & Drills" class (more running). Nutritionally, I stayed on the low end and ate clean (mostly) and the scale is cooperating nicely, Hit 140 this morning, so, stay clean today and I should end the month at mid range or just slightly under. YEAH! First time in MONTHS! Was wanting to check out a new speed work class, but it is quite a drive to get to and I do have chores that need to get done today and tomorrow since I will be gone all weekend with two races and work. I think after these two, I may take a few weeks off racing so that I can do more in the ST and cross training arena without worrying about getting to sore to compete.

So good to hear that the healthy lifestyle is being adopted by so many family members - would love to see that happen here too, but it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, and unfortunately momentum has the upper hand right now.

Good morning. I am glad to hear everyone is working to stay on track. Bess I am impressed that you climbed trees. I am thinking of a fitness staycation, and I was planning to visit my local botanical gardens to do some walking.

I had toning zumba last night which was good, and have zumba again tonight. I am hoping to get 10k steps in.

Good morning! Still impressed by your dh, Maree, and moreso now that it seems like he's in it for the long haul. I am guessing you are inspiring him. Bravo. Like knowing about Norfolk, Bess. Did not know this garden existed and will want to see it too. Right after my husband looks at jeeps...

Thinking how warm weather is making it easier to be outside now, a plus for walking and running. I love lake swimming and when we get home, I'm in for the season.

Love hearing how focused this thread is on working out steadily and staying on track. It's helping me as I travel. I did get 45 minutes on the elliptical yesterday before climbing in our car. Staying put for today on a college campus where I will get lots of steps.

We strolled the paths, climbed the trees, road in the canal boat and smelled the roses. The weather was warm but pleasant and everyone we met was friendly and eager to make our visit perfect. And though we walked around the gardens from noon till 5 pm, we still didn't see it all. Something to look forward to.

Today it's strength training with WthePT and then a visit to my mama. I believe Himself will join me so that means we'll also look at cars.

I am going on a run this morning as well. I've been doing only short runs with hubby for a week, so this might be a difficult run for me. The heat and humidity will also challenge me a bit more.

I do not run in the dark - it's too dangerous. Please be careful!

After my run this morning, breakfast and then taking my furbaby to the groomer. We plan on working hard in the garden this afternoon and hope to finish it before tomorrow's storms arrive.

Good morning! Good day yesterday. I walked at lunch with a friend; it was over 80 degrees and humid and sometimes I think I should take a change of clothes.

This morning I have a long walk with fitness buddy at 5:15 am but I want to keep up my running stamina so I am planning to run the Home Square 2.8 mi before I meet her, leaving here at 4:30 am. DH runs at about 6:00 am. I don't enjoy running alone in the dark but it's the only way to fit it in. I'm toast after work and my fitness buddy has back injuries preventing her from running.

Healthy meals planned especially now that DH is on board! Yaaay!! Still smiling about that!
