Been away for over a week and finding it hard to stay connected...so much going on with family and work. Find when I am not tracking my food regularly I am spending more time thinking about it and second guessing myself which adds a little stress. So I hope to be back on track with the nutrition tracker starting this week. Spark sometimes it feels extremely slow and I wonder if there are other sites where food can be done a bit easier...have heard people mention some but was focussed on Spark so didn't pay heed. If anyone has some others that can work just for the nutrition piece, I'd appreciate hearing. Won't give up Spark but want something easy to use day to day for my tracking my food!
Thomasina--If misery loves company, you've got it! My hands have been giving me fits, though my rheumatologist says there's no sign of sinovitis, so it's "just" from the osteo (which he calls "insult to injury"). We had a nice visit yesterday with my cousin and aunt, but it was a long drive. I slept in this morning and was nearly late to church. We had a visiting choir and it was the first Sunday for our interim pastor, so I didn't want to skip, even though it meant showing up with unwashed crazy hair. I'm very glad tomorrow is a holiday!
I've been dealing with a major arthritis flareup the past 2 weeks and it's getting me down and the weather is awful, which isn't helping. It's almost June and we've had to put the fire on in the house for heat.. definitely not normal for this time of year.
Hopefully today some my arthritic pain issues will start to letup..and I can get back to feeling like doing more.
I think that work stress has taken more of a toll than I realized. I couldn't stay awake yesterday. Slept and slept and slept! At one point, I got frustrated and went for a walk with the girls. When I got back, I laid down on the couch and slept some more!
It is a beautiful morning out. Going to let my breakfast settle a little and then go out for a run.

I "made it through" my daughter's graduation party. A few tears, but not too bad. I did go over calories and not enough water, but I was proud of myself. (The late night pizza did me in.) Have a great day!

Great 4 mi run yesterday. I pushed the stroller on the way back for an extra lower body workout. DH and DD did great--we all did! We are running again this morning. Nutrition was great but no scale here on the houseboat. We decided not to attend the marina potluck as we didn't get the memo (actually didn't write it down) and didn't want to be tempted with all the inevitable yummies!
