Hi All, I am using the Spark Solution book and I found the serving sizes on the recipes. I have adapted this book for my 1200 to 1300 calorie intake. I love the new recipes. I have tried a few of them. They taste really great. I lost a pound. It is a big variety of food and some I have not used before. Have a happy and safe holiday weekend. Linda from bean town

I hear you Besshaile. That's what I did today finish planting my garden. Npw I resting before dinner. It's just right to finish. The weather is kind of cool but like you say keep those mayflies away. Maree enjoy your weekend with your family. Everyone have a bless weekend.
Hello all! Lots of fun gong on here. Congratulations on your good week Russell.
I took the dog for a walk early, now I'm getting ready for my husband's aunt's memorial service. It's two and a half hours away so hopefully the driving won't sap too much energy so I can get a run in tonight.
I did a brisk walk last night and worked the abs. I'm feeling that this morning.
Our weather has been so cold and rainy.. only a few breaks of sun and it sure makes doing anything outside not a lot of fun. I have little herb plants waiting to go outside into pots, but it's just too cool.. Hopefully we'll get our warm weather soon!
Have a good weekend folks and those of you celebrating Memorial Day, enjoy the long weekend.
Had a great week with weight training and running. Not so great on food though. Need to get that in check. We don't really have any plans for the holiday weekend as my kids have to go to school on Monday! Ugh! But this is the last week of school for them. I have a big work thing at the end of the week and I will be glad when its over.
Everyone have a great day!

Getting ready to head out to take my Mom to visit her sister. I went to my local farmer's market yesterday for the first time this year. I'm trying not to buy too much so that I can use up things before vacation, but I do want to support the small producers! I got first of the season cherries, milk, cheese, baba ganoush and a pepper sauce called zhug. I get a box of produce delivered each week, so that's why there aren't any vegis this time.
Happy weekend everyone. Heading up to northern Wisconsin for a weekend of fishing and relaxing at a friends cottage on the lake. Will try and stay on track for diet and exercise but making no promises. Enjoy
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Not doing too well with staying on track and logging food and staying accountable and it is showing. Tonight is grilling out with the family after work, so it is going to be tough....in addition, they are grilling at work today and monday. I'm supposed to do a 10K Monday before work, but that means driving 45 mins in the morning to get to the race by 7:30 and then driving right home and getting to work for a 1p-10 shift....still debating if that is wise.

Hello everyone! Maree - it sounds like you've got a lot of fun planned for this weekend. I hope everyone else does too.
Looks like the weather gods want me to get that garden planted today. We had rain yesterday and today it's sunny but cool. Way too cool to go out on the river but perfect weather for keeping the biting mayflies away. This year the garden is new and will be small but it will be big enough to supply my favorite salads and stir-fry recipes with lots of vegetables. The rest of that area will be planted in buckwheat and tilled every 6-8 weeks. Next year we will actually do the real garden design work.
Wonder just how much of a work-out gardening will turn out to be ....
At the houseboat with the whole family!! We are planning our first run with DH after the fishing lines are checked (and harvested). Healthy food stocked in the fridge. It's gonna be a healthy sparking day!!!
