Good morning all! In spite of dinner out my weight is down for the week. Spent much of the evening watching news of the I-5 bridge collapse. Thankfully, no one was killed and my travels this weekend will take me south instead of north. Tomorrow I'm taking my 90 year old mom to visit her 87 year old sister, who is in far worse shape than her older sister. Mom says, "She just didn't make an effort!" Here's to making an effort and being a good example for others!

Nothing planned this weekend. I have been on call all week, until Monday morning. So just chillin!
I ran 4.25 miles yesterday which amazed me. The wind was a little gusty and slowed me down a bit but I kept going. I hope to run again Saturday to get some more miles in for the runnow.com challenge for Boston!

I'm staying home, except for tonight. DH and I have a wine dinner, and we always stay at the hotel so we don't have to worry about driving home. Tomorrow is a pampering day, and sometime during the weekend, I hope to do the quarterly trash pickup on our adopted road. Monday, I have ST and yoga scheduled.

I will be working today and tomorrow 8-5, then Sunday I serve as the stage lighting tech from 7-1 and work on Monday from 1-10PM. I'll get in ST of some kind two of those days and then a short run on one and a 10K on Monday morning. I need to stay faithful to the fitness, this weekend especially since I'm sure that I will be surrounded by food all weekend long.

My vacation officially started yesterday at 3:30 but I was pretty worthless all day. I hope I left everything in good order. thank heaven for smart staff - I can leave it all to them. Unfortunately there was a mix-up with the trainer and when I got to the gym he'd left. I did a brief workout but didn't push myself. That's funny too, since by then my back issues had melted. I wonder how much of that pain was stress induced. Think I need to do more meditation workouts. (hmmm. that sounds like an oxymoron)
well - I have 10 glorious days to savor - and the first one is today - it begins with a haircut, a manicure and a rare Friday visit to the gym - and it will end with a wine tasting and a DVD of the Vicar of Dibbley. Gonna love this day.
I'm headed to the gym for 30 min cardio and 60 min RIPPED class. I hope to finish up at work by noon so can head to the river early. DD and granddaughter will be heading over mid afternoon too! Yaaaay!
Yesterday's run went really well! New shoes, cool weather, low humidity all helped make it great! I think I love running again!
