Still in the game, but don't always get to check-in with busy outdoor work.
Still tracking and will be for a while . . . I just don't trust myself enough not to yet.
If there is no time to do it online I have most calorie counts memorized and can jot them down on a piece of scrap paper if I need to. It helps me know if I can afford a snack at the end of the day.

Today's weigh-in 125.5 again--for over a month I've been under 130 and surprised at how that last 10 lbs (which was a bonus loss--unplanned) has made me feel---something happened anyway, because I seem to have so much more motivation and energy.

Wiggle room on my weight! Getting consistent with exercise tipped the scales . . . in a good way~just don't think I need to lose any more--just get firm and fit!

Weight is in range--still doing well not tracking food, and I'm getting at least 2 miles in walking done everyday.

I'm still in a slump. I want to eat too much and move too little. I'm achy and tired. My weight is creeping up, some due to puffiness, but some is surely good old fashioned fat. I need to snap out of it! I've come too far to give up now. I need do do this for my health, wellbeing, vanity and to set a good example. emoticon

Feeling shattered today, dont know why. Its now raining, with distant thunder, which upsets one of the dogs. I dont know how much is genuine fear and how much is naughtiness because he wants to come into the house, which is totally unacceptable in Albania, unless you have a lapdog, which my albanian sheepdogs are NOT!
20 mins in garden and struggled thro a bodysculpting workshop, with a couple of short breaks for my sore muscles.

Maree, thanks for your concern. The doc didn't think the bump was serious but told me to watch for any developments. It's great your DH is moving! Mine complains about being out of shape, but he doesn't act. I'd love to walk more with him. There's a couple in my neighborhood that walks every day. I see them as I'm coming home from my long commute and wish I could be out there with DH.

Awesome. My hubby walk sometimes in the evening. But his down fall is sweet. If I could get him to cut back it would be so great for him. I walk with him sometimes. But when he get home about six I am ready to settle down.

Morning everyone! My partner has also been "sparked" by my physical activity - thank goodness, because he really needs it - he is very slim, but has some pretty severe depression issues, and I think keeping active would help keep that in check. I introduced him to Coach Nicole's videos, and he seems to find her grounded attitude as appealing as I do. He actually worked out for 30 minutes the other day, which is a huge deal for him.

Well, speaking of Coach Nicole, I'm going to go do some ST with her, and then eat breakfast. Have a great day!

I wish my husband would catch the fever! He's on the slimmer side but it would be fun to be active with him. He like bike riding so we'll be getting some of that in soon.

Gloomy, rainy day here today but if it's not raining too hard, I'm going to attempt a run later. I pledged to run 20 miles by National Running Day, June 5 so I need to get started. I may stop at the sports store and see if there is a light, water-resistant running jacket at a reasonable price. Or I'll just be a kid again and not mind getting wet when I go outside to "play".

Congrats Marree! It's always wonderful when your spouse decided to join you in a healthy lifestyle!

Yesterday was a rainy day but i did get in my workout. I also had a fun rainy day activity day with my DD (she's 5). Today the yard is mush and the park is out of the question, the play ground is mush too, so indoor exercise again today and catching up on what didn't get done yesterday.

Have a good day!

Hi All, I have been using the Spark Solution book. I am now gaining weight from too high of a calorie range used in the book. It has too much food for a smaller person like me. I am anxious to try all the recipes but need to cut them down. I need help to modify the diet offered by this book. The book is disappointing for me because it does not offer a slimmer version of these recipes for a lower calorie range. Linda from bean town

Maree, how wonderful for you - it's such a blessing to have somseone close to you who is supportive and better, PARTICIPATING, in living a healthier lifestyle. Your example seems to have really "Sparked" something in your DH - CONGRATULATIONS!

Haven't been particularly good about tracking the pacst couple of days, and it showed up on the scale this morning. Hydration is up, but I's sure that doesn't account for the full 1.5 lbs. I have a "Hills and Drills" class tonight, as long as storms aren't too bad. Will try to get in a good run and maybe some yoga or pilates tomorrow. I have a day off (except for lighting practice at night), so the plan is to get a little extra rest and some chores done. Still haven't gotten my winter to summer wardrobe switch done, so need to concentrate on that and replenish the supplies of fruits and veggies.

Hope eveyone enjoys a fun and productive day!

Maree that is great that your DH is exercising with you.
Xraylady65 I feel your pain. i am struggling with the right amount of calories and exercise. Good luck with the calorie reduction. I hope it works

I did better yesterday with calorie control. I stayed in range and did over 5 miles on the treadmill and pilates. The scale is moving down, so I think the key is to bump up my exercise.

Yay for your hubbie, Maree. He'll be around to have fun with a long long time.

Yesterday I was the ONLY person in the gym for much of my workout. Imagine - I could have done anything! What I did was 50 min on the stationary bike. This afternoon is also a cardio day but I haven't decided what I'll do - maybe a combination of bike and elliptical.

We've been eating an awful lot of meat this week - left overs from Saturday's BBQ dinner. I like meat but I am so missing vegetable protein. Imagine. I'm craving tofu! LOL That's on the menu tonight. spicy tofu with vegetables. yum. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Happy Wednesday, team. I'm happy for you and your DH, Maree. So great to have a healthy and active partner. Hope you get some great new shoes!

Feeling great about being at goal range and active this week. I thought all my travel might throw my game, but it hasn't! Walking today. It looks gloomy outside, but I know I'll feel great if I get some miles in.

Make it a good one, everyone!

Good Wednesday morning! I not only got an extra walk in at lunch, but after work DH wanted to do the same 3 mi run we did Sunday morning. Of course! I am filled with joy that he has made a decision to exercise, eat healthy and lose excess weight! I never nagged him, but always feared that the "obese" diseases would start to effect him. Last night he spoke of going to the running store to get some "fat boy" running shoes (lol); I need some new shoes too.

I tried a new and EASY turkey burger recipe and it was yummy. I have leftovers for today's lunch. Yesterday's nutrition hasn't been completely tracked yet, but it was good.

Headed to gym at 5 am for 30 min elliptical and 60 min RIPPED class. Celia, hope you are okay!

Hope everyone has a fantastic "hump" day!
