Sorry to hear about your Auntie. May God give your family the peace. Just look to him. He will make the pain easy. I will keep you and your family in my prayer. Keep up the 10 minutes. You can do it.

Hi All, Just checking in with you all. I walked my little doggy. I took Mom out and bought grocery for the Spark Solution Diet starting Monday. I am very sad my Auntie passed away in a car accident today. She was the sweetest person I very meet. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

Late Saturday check in. Had lunch-for-breakfast out, then made a mammoth Costco run. I am still amazed that I can see size 2 bottoms (in this case, Bermuda shorts) and just toss them in the cart, confident they'll fit. They also had cute lace tops that will go with anything. I'm starting to think about my vacation wardrobe. Time to get out that swimsuit I bought last year but didn't wear! emoticon

I sympathise with the sleeping problems, Maree. Glad you had a good night. So did I, after under 4 hours the night before. Went back to bed during the morning, till I heard the fruit and vegetable man announce he had CHERRIES! That got me out of bed!
At last my energy is back after nearly 3 weeks of tummy bug followed by flu. I've done some gardening the last 2 or 3 days, and found out how to play DVDs in slow motion, so have worked out steps for grapevine, mamba and boxer shuffle.
Had our belated Easter celebration on Wednesday. Various members of the group told different parts of the Easter story and a good time was enjoyed by all.
My sister is now back in England after visiting me. Poor thing had me out of action nearly all the time!
And we have beautiful sunny weather again.

Good morning all! It has been a few days since check in. But, good news is I am still in the maintenance game.

Enjoyed frog legs and fried (yes, fried) potatoes for dinner last night and can feel it in my belly today. Ugh! I didn't overeat . . . it is the grease that has my stomach on alert. Thankfully, this is a once in a blue moon occurrence.

Weigh-in today was 125.5

Sorry Thomasina, hope the stress level gets under control. I remember when I worked, took care of family and my mother. It was more than I wanted to handle sometimes. When it all leveled out (I closed my business, my mom passed, my children married . . . ) I didn't know what to do with myself. I had been running on adrenaline for so many years that when things got 'easy' I was actually lost and depressed. I have adjusted to a simpler, slower pace now, but it has taken me a few years to get comfortable with the slower pace. Good Luck and take care of yourself.

Wiggle room on my weight! Getting consistent with exercise tipped the scales . . . in a good way~just don't think I need to lose any more--just get firm and fit!

Good Morning Team.

Finally I am starting to feel a bit better after the upheaval of travel. It sure knocks the heck out of me, plus there were some unexpected stressors during the trip, which really set me back, but it's all worked out now, I hope.. An aging Mom, care problems, a really irritable cranky sister.. you get the picture! And add in lack of sleep during my stay..

I am Soooo happy to be home and getting back into routine. My arthritis really flares bad with stress and different eating routines.

I hope you all have a good weekend..

Morning everyone! I'm aiming for another day of eating in my calorie range rather than undereating so that I can at least say that I managed to eat enough the majority of the days this week (right now I'm at 3/6). I'm about to do some routines on Coach Nicole's Cardio Blast video and eat breakfast. Then I'm getting ready to head out to our local farmer's market with some friends. It's one of my favorite warm weather activities. Can't wait to buy some fresh produce!

Have a great day!

Happy birthday, Irene!

Calories in my happy range (though I could use more protein, I have trouble getting enough in hot weather) - and I walked over 9000 steps. A good day!

It was my birthday this week ,celebrations which always involve food extended over a week, yes I did indulge a little and gained a pound or two. I know now this will happen. I also know I can get right back to routine which I m doing, my own way of eating plus daily exercise will soon have me back on the right track . Irene emoticon

Good morning all. Maree - smiles for the good night's sleep and crossed fingers that you can bypass the germs. Your regimen is the same as mine when it comes to cold germs.

Big Weekend here - hosting another library author event - always nervous that we ordered enough food. Some people said they were coming who probably wont show up. Some who never responded probably will. Fingers crossed that we'll be alright. I still have multiple hundred cookies to bake - but I use the slice'n'bake things from the grocery store so it's just a matter of ... well, slicing and baking. LOL

I've already pre-planned how much I will eat today because I have another event to go to - one with food - tomorrow. It's fun. It's great. but I will be glad to get back to my safe normal routine next week. And up ahead? VACATION! soon. soon soon soon.

Have a super weekend, one and all.

Good morning Maree - so glad you finally got a good nights sleep! I know all too well haow miserable a lack of sleep can make life. Sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned and hope you get to spend some special time with your DD, though I wish it was under better circumstances.

Nutrition was okay yesterday - very balance, but felt hungry all day. Sis's had a cookout last night with big juicy burgers on kaiser rolls. I made a strawberry, pecan and fresh greens salad, so I had a LARGE salad and a not so big burger. Wound up 4 calories over for the day, but still showed a small loss on the scale this AM. Working 8-5 today, then going to try to get a good night's sleep and do a long run in the morning before church. Need to work on my homework for my "Hills and Drills" class when I get home tonight.

Hoping everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Good morning. Hope you feel better soon Maree. I'm very sorry about the loss of your DD's ex boyfriend. Very sad in indeed. I will be praying for his family.

I'm heading out shortly for a four-mile run, then my dog will be ready for her one-mile walk. Then we'll get ready to head to Milwaukee for a Pirate Flag and an Island Girl..... to see Kenny Chesney. I'm so excited! I won tickets on his on-line radio station.

A beautiful day here! I hope everyone has some fun today!

Woke up in the middle of the night to my inner binge eater taking the pilot seat again... ugh. I've gained 5 lbs in the last month since switching to maintenance. We're going camping on Mon-Fri and when I return I'm switching gears back to weight loss mode for the next month or six weeks. Hopefully, I can reset myself in weight loss mode.

Doing my cardio today, some packing, laundry, mopping and getting things ready for our camping trip this morning/early afternoon. Then going to my mom's with the kids, my Granddad is down visiting from the same town we're going camping. He'll probably be returning the same time we're leaving to go there.

My father in law had a heart attack and is getting open heart surgery on wednesday. So between that, getting ready for camping and my increasingly more frequent binge eating I have been experiencing some serious emotional turmoil. Hoping my camping trip does something positive for me and I come back refreshed and relaxed and ready to conquer my newly developed binge eating habit and lose this regain.

Good morning! I finally slept a full night! I am very thankful. I'm fighting the germs DH has--his cold has lingered more than 2 weeks. I can't remember the last time I had a cold--several years. I believe in Vit C and Airborne, gargling salt water and it's been pretty effective for me (together with a healthy lifestyle of exercise and mostly natural foods).

I'm meeting a friend today who has a new rescue dog who needs to learn manners for a long walk. My well-mannered dogs and I will meet for an hour or so. It's a beautiful, warm day, perfect for being on the River, but we are stuck here for DH's obligations. There's an Art Fair downtown which I hope to visit. A former boyfriend of DD's died of a drug overdose and it has shocked us all--he had demons when they were together, violent and anger problems, which caused the breakup, but this is just horrible. So DD may come for the memorial. mainly to comfort his best friend who was our neighbor for many years. Sad...

Today I look forward to CLEAN eating and the great feeling it gives me.

I have a "to do" list a mile long and look forward to getting a lot done.

Hope everyone has a happy, healthy Saturday!
