Another full day...had a great session with the facilitator group I am mentoring and then spent the rest of the day working on other contract work to try to wraps some things up. Did my 1st Vinyassa Flow Yoga class today and really liked it. I realize I am gaining core strength and need to stop holding such a dim view of my core strength. Felt good to be able to keep up with all the young ones in the group! Raining most of the day so held off walking untill after dinner when it started to brighten. Still got caught in the rain but had a few moments of sunshine. On track with nutrition again today!

Re: Spark being down, I get a little anxious when I can't track my food. But I write it down elsewhere and it's okay. I guess I could always put it in Fitbit. It would duplicate when I put it in Spark later (the sync goes from spark to fitbit and the fitness comes from fitbit to spark... I guess). I also thought I can just read my Spark solution book. But I was/am pretty sick. I had 4738 steps when I brushed my teeth last night and I didn't even run around the house to get to 5k.

finally a half decent sleep last night and my pain cycle is starting to break. My weight is too low this week at 106, so I need to gain back at least 2 lbs.. eat more and exercise a bit less.. this should be an easy fix!!!
My weight dropped 2 lbs in 2 weeks after going gluten free even though my tracked calories remained the same.. hmmmmmm...what is this telling me..

Had a long busy day yesterday. One coworker called in because she had a sick kid and the other one overslept so long that she decided to take the day off because it was already going to be counted against her attendance record. I did take a lunch, but worked through my breaks. I went straight from there to the opening of the church synod assembly--I was to sing in the choir. That went until after 9, so i wasn't home until almost 10. Nutrition was in line for the day. I hope today is a little calmer! Time to get to it.

Good morning!! Got 2 miles in before work this morning!! Weight was one below target, so another no track day on the food :) AND it's Friday!! Last Friday at work with students :) Plan to visit my best girlfriend tomorrow sometime--get in a work out, at least one delicious meal at Panera, and probably some shopping (one of my favorite kinds of exercise:) All while my kids are home cleaning their rooms, because I'm a mean mom and have begged them for weeks to work on it and get it done--now they are gonna miss out on a fun day, because they have not taken care of it :)

Whoa - good morning early birds! Celia, you made me tired just reading everything that you managed to accomplish yesterday. Yesterday was work for me from 8-5 then running errands for my sister, some chores a light dinner and to bed. SP being down made nutrition dicey last night, but I think I did okay - will go back tonight and enter food just to check. Got to really watch it tonight since the little sis will be over to BBQ tonight. Going to make a huge tossed salad and bring a Amylu chicken burger for me, so hopefully I'll keep it all in check and see a stable scale in the AM if not down just a smidge. Got my new sports bras in the mail yesterday too. Great deal - it was buy one get one free on BraKette by CoCo designs. got my first one at a half-marathon expo and they are the most comfortable and durable sport bras that I have ever bought. The even have a little pocket for a mp3, shuffle, key etc built in. You can only get them online right now and there is just the one style with black on white or white on black, but now I have three and I can rotate. Thinnking of getting rid of the other sport bras all together. Well, got to finish getting ready for work and pack something light and healthy for a snack. Hope you all have a marvelous Friday!

Hi all, I have to watch what I eat better the scale went up. I am at 125.5 now. I am starting the spark solution on Monday. In two week I should lose 4 pounds. I will have to do some grocery shopping for this two week phase. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

whew. I didn't know what had happened, since I hadn't tried to log on last night. Just missed all my notifications this a.m. and grew worried. Thank goodness I could get in here this morning. Love me my morning SP.
Earned lots of activity points yesterday even though I didn't go to the gym at all. Taught a class - which meant standing for a few hours, walking back and forth - plus I got in 2 good long walks during the day. Ate well too - within my calorie range. Ordered a grilled veggie sandwich for lunch and asked it to be served un-assembled. I loved all the tastes but the grilled bread was better for not being part of a sandwich.
And now - oh happy thought - it's Friday!

Glad the fire only cut power and didn't destroy the servers. Hope no one got hurt, and I'm happy SP is back online. Intended to check in late yesterday, but the site was already down when I got to in. Busy day yesterday as I frantically cleaned house (swept entire basement [ugh], swept/mopped kitchen, cleaned toilets) before a plumber arrived (sheesh), paid a bill, washed towels and kitchen rug, picked up a prescription, got blood drawn, took car to be inspected, did admin for our walking club (serviced box at national park and at Manassas, prepared deposit, went to bank), picked up wine club wine, went to ST session with trainer, and cleaned up/disposed of the remains of two mice the cat caught (ewwww). Then I tried to go to bed at at decent hour and ended up staring at the ceiling for hours. Running on fumes this morning. So need coffee.

Mornin sunshines, happy Friday. I almost used the SP website being down as an excuse to skip ST last night. Guess what? Spark people workout videos are on you tube so I did two upper body ST videos on you tube.
I also went for a bike ride to check off another box on my May health challenge card at work, then walked the dog.
Tonight it's relaxing with my book, rest up for a Saturday morning run. I hope it's a good day for everyone!
