Have been away from my computer since Friday and using my phone to connect with Spark. Gave up trying to track my food intake...just takes too long. So have been calculating in my head but not quite the same Home later tomorrow I think so can get back on track. Good work going blood VeniseW1!!!

did some housecleaning before i donated blood and was told I was not allowed to run or do any strenuous activity so i was not able to run today :( 2 days in a row of no running, ughh..

Hello team, Had a pretty laid back day. No emergencies or running around.
On track with my food intake, but with a piece of fresh homemade coffee cake for later, I will be at my days cap. Hope I can resist the normal (budgeted, healthy) snack in lieu of the piece of coffee cake I plan to enjoy after while (calories are already calculated).

No structured exercise today -- I am a lazy girl. Well, not really lazy--I did work on my mosaic projects and did a little weed pulling. I also made a coffee cake for my husband (I usually get the first piece and he eats the rest) and a pan of cornbread for supper with bean soup. I am doing pretty well as far as being able to make him a treat and not pig out when I do. I just get my one small piece and it usually satisfies. With the cornbread too, it is a double whammy on the calorie end. Thankfully, I am not overly tempted by the sweets demon.

I hope everyone is doing well and finding happiness in your day. If today didn't go so well, I hope tomorrow is better.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Losing weight will not change you. You are the same person you always were. They realize that you are thinner. They may treat you differently now but you are still the wonderful person you have always been. They maybe could not see past the weight. You can be proud of your accomplishment. NSV yesterday saw about 10 people who haven't seen me in about six months. Lots of comments about how thin I am. I am sorry to say that it bothered me. Rather than delighting in hearing it, I was thinking okay I am thin, what is the big deal. This is the new me. I am still working on this maintenance thing. So I want to be at the point where people think. Oh her she has always been fit.

I took Mom out to the grocery store. I took Dusty my little doggie outside four times. I cooked meals and did laundry today. I did all my core and strength training exercises. I feel sick now and have to take Dusty out again. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

A little late checking in today - got to sleep in for the first time in a long time! (Well, actually, I did have to get up to take care of all the critters, but got to go back to bed for a couple of hours) That'll be much appreciated as I work tonight until 10PM and then back to work at 7AM tomorrow. Have a bit of a sore throught and I think it must be some allergies from doing all the lawn spring up stuff yesterday afternoon. Nutrition is going good and the scale is continuing to move down slowly and I am less than a pound and a half from the center of my goal range as of this morning. I'm just going to keep steady at doing the right things and trust that it will continue. Weight averaging is helping me to not be so emotional about the scale and to adjust quicker to fluctuations. Thank you all for making me aware of that technique and site!!! That's why I love this team. With your help, I WILL be able to keep this weight off and continue the road to a healthier lifestyle!

still not feeling the greatest... dang sinus drainage..... hopefully start feeling better soon want to workout later tonight or tomorrow so i can get back into a routine... my 3rd 5k of season is coming up this saturday....

Had a really busy/active day yesterday--2 mile walk before church, one mile walk after (to go to breakfast and stopped at Goodwill--got some new jeans :)
Helped my boyfriend stack firewood to begin preparing for the next heating season--earned back more in activity than I usually do--especially on a Sunday--it was so beautiful outside, and we spent a couple hours relaxing in the hammock together--it was awesome!!

I was over slightly on calories yesterday, but I did it with a grapefruit instead of ice cream, so that's something! I had a hard time getting to sleep last night and then had insomnia nightmares--like dreaming I forgot my coffee, my lunch, a class I needed to graduate... I had a good workout yesterday but it must have looked hilarious. We bought some old boat cushions for the foam and they were funky smelling from being in a barn for years. I read that a good way to deodorize foam is to soak it in water mixed with borax and a little bleach. So there I was in a tank top, shorts and paisley rain boots, stomping around on foam in a wading pool to make sure they got completely soaked, then hauling them out and stomping on them some more to get the water out. They dried all afternoon in the sun and we left them out for another day of airing and I think it's working! No chicken coop smell! Of course, that means more work for me as now I'll need to make new covers for them. On to Monday!

Morning all! Had a lot of emotional ups and downs this weekend. I could use another day off, but I also don't know that staying home today would give me that. =\ My head cold seems to have cleared up, so I should be able to make it to the gym this evening. Right now I'm going to do some ST and have breakfast.

Over on the calories but also have walked nearly 15,000 steps - so my 1800 calories is okay. Not great, but okay.

Maree sometimes the spiritual is more important then the physical. Glad you found a chuch your daughter liked. Today brings 60 minutes of water jogging and then a slow 45 minute water exercise class, then computer class and finally my favorite housework lol. Hope everyone has a great monday.

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

I had an active weekend with lots of steps and two hard workouts on the elliptical. Am checking out a local gym today and plan to put Impatiens in (I have a flat). Also on the deck some writing and work related reading.

Happy Monday everyone. Maree, glad to year you're back in your own kitchen again. And yes - our spiritual health - and hunger - certainly needs the same attention our bodies do.

Another crack-0-dawn Monday for me (and next week too!) with a long day ahead. I rather overdid it yesterday with food - not that it was junk food - but it was too much food. I hate it when I eat beyond the "FULL" limits. Also got back into the old abandoned garden yesterday. Himself dragged the mower while I hurried ahead digging up daffodils and Iris I didn't want to lose. discovered the old David Austin rose Othello is still alive as well as the Souvenier de Malmaison. woo woo. talk about hardy. The plan is to put in a small vegetable garden. I absolutely hate it that I have to buy zucchini and yellow squash when I have all these acres. Been a long time since I had a garden.

Good morning. Monday brings 30 min cardio and 60 min ST class , and a desk stacked high as a result of being at the seminar for two days. I feel like I'm at the bottom of a big hill and it will take grit and perserverance to get to the top. I am strong ... I can do it!!

I'm so glad to be back to my healthy eating routine too. I'm looking forward to light, healthy nutrition and the feeling of energy and control it gives me.

Found a great church my daughter liked yesterday!! Our spirituality is definitely an element of good health. Great reminder to keep in touch through prayerful walks and drives.
