I put up some pics on my Sparkpage. I don't have pics of all my outfits. ;) Just 2 so far. But I did well!! I got 3 pairs of jean shorts, 1 pair of spandex shorts, 1 pair of Buffalo skinny-leg jeans (that I adore!), 5 tops, a bra and 3 summer dresses for get this.... $220! I love Winners. I don't know if any of you have them where you're from but they sell name brand clothes at discounted prices. I must have tried on 40 different things. I had no idea what was going to look good on me, what size I was in and I use to avoid clothes shopping so much when I was overweight, I had no idea how to mix and match the new styles. I'm way out of touch.

One complaint... I hate what's in style now. The tops are so unflattering. They would have been great when I was overweight but they're drapey. I already have a rectangle figure after my weight loss but these tops emphasis it! argh. They also have ugly patterns. It's all early 90's back with a venegence. I did manage to find a few I like though and I love the shorts that are in style now. I usually have a had time finding jean shorts I like and I loved all them. I think this year it's all about camoflaging your upper figure and showing off your lower body.

I had to buy size 1 and 2's in jeans/shorts. Which is kind of crummy since they don't carry much in those sizes. So selection is a bit limited. I had the opposite problem last time. They didn't carry many size 15's in regular stores.

My birthday's coming up in June and my mom already said she'd take me shopping there again for my birthday. Plus I'll have some more birthday money to play with, so I'll be back again for more soon and should have my summer wardrobe completed. :))

I'll post more pics as I go. :)

I was so scared of being the wrong statistic and gaining back that I bought new clothes very hesitantly. And, since I was so used to having to hide my figure, I bought them much too loose and baggy. I had to order from the Internet so long that I was overwhelmed in regular stores and had to ask for advice from my sister.
I, too, found that my figure had changed. I went from being an apple to a pear and am much hippier now.
Enjoy your shopping. You deserve it.

Yesterday I bought some smaller clothes from the Gypsies' stalls in the market. Albanian equivalent of charity shops, tho you have to rummage through everything as in a jumble sale. Great fun. My old clothes, now too big, will go back to the Gypsies, via a sister at the church who collects clothing, mostly for an impoverished single mother to sell. I was up half a kilo today, after a wedding, which added cals, and a tummy bug, which discouraged me from burning many! As my luck would have it, I went down with a nasty throat this afternoon, so again no exercise and lots of lemon and honey. But I'm still 1 1/2 kilos below my original goal weight. I think I've dropped a dress size, maybe more. Wonderful feeling!

emoticon I know you will have fun. I did this a little while ago. I am 58 and will not wear a bikini but fit into a size S. I bought 4 pair of size 8 Jordache skinny jeans. I will never be a size 2 again.

Way to go on getting yourself a new wardrobe! I love clothes shopping now and have to limit myself because I often find tons of things I like these days. I totally know what you mean about the changing measurements. It's taken me a year of maintenance to finally get my waist back and my weight is definitely distributed differently than it used to be. I like tankinis because they can still be really cute and hide the bits of tummy that I'm more self conscious about.

My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since.

How very exciting! There are some really cute tankini's out there that are super young and stylish and hide the tummy. Just for fun look at Althleta.com. They're pricey, but it gives you ideas about the cuteness factor.
Have fun!

Yahooo! Wish I were going with you. I love to shop - and I'm a lucky shopper too. do get a couple of really god new bras - you may find some of that frontage is still there - just a little lower.

Can't think of a more fun reward than a new spring wardrobe. Hope you post photos.

Super excited! I've really put this off for forever and have just been wearing my old, old clothes from 5-10 years ago from before my pregnancies and weight gain. But even they're too big and baggy on me! I weigh around the same as I did before I became pregnant, maybe slightly less but my measurements have changed. I wouldn't necessarily say for the better... I lost my butt and hips, I'm bigger in the waist and I lost my chest, hrmm. I used to be 35 24 35 before my weight gain and now I'm 33 26 33. Weird. So now all my pants and skirts fall off my skinny behind. I used to wear a size 3 or 5. Now I'm guessing I'm going to be a size 1 or 3.

I also need to find a bathing suit because we're going camping in 3 weeks. I'm a bit worried about it. I want something young and fresh but I need something to camoflage my left over mummy tummy. Don't care about the stretch marks but I'm not about to let the droopy lower tummy hang all out. I'm thinking I may be able to pull off a bikini top with board or boy shorts.

I wanted my new wardrobe to be a huge a reward once I was done losing and to wait until the spring/summer to buy new clothes to show off my rockin new me (can't really do that with winter clothes). So finally, I'm ready!
