I've been sick with a sinus infection but got myself to the gym today to get a strength class. Managed the whole thing--just couldn't do some of the abs work--didn't do anything for a week so that was tough! I also got out for a walk with hubby and went out to dinner but brought one pork chop home for tomorrow! I will get the hang of this maintenance thing!!

Good luck, Firecom. That's worrisome! Xray, hang in there. I am sure you are in a better place healthwise.

I have been using a liter bottle for water and darn if I didn't lose count of how many times I filled it today. Just between 2 and 3. I've had 8cups for sure plus powerade while I was riding my bike. It didn't wind up being a long enough ride to justify it because my chain got wedged. I was able to walk it home.

Oh dear. Each liter of fluid is 2.2 pounds, if you are up 5 pounds that is 2.2 liters of fluid, and that is a lot. I hope the doctors can find what is wrong.

My docs fear that I have another internal bleeding problem. I have added over 5 lbs in just a few days and have swelling in my feet and legs. Problem is this. I know that I am facing another round of colonoscopies and since I just had a pacemaker installed last week, I cannot lie on my left side for at least another month.

If there is bleeding, it MUST be found and fixed. This happened a year ago and spent 5 days in the hospital and 5 units of blood. I also lost almost 2 gallons of body fluid during this time period. I did learn that when the blood levels are down, the body will work to add fluids to the soft tissues of your body.

I track my daily kcals and there is no way that I have consumed an excess of over 15000 kcals.

emoticon past couple day I did great during the day w/various exercize just not at night. Sabotaging myself w/frosting. Somehow I have managed to maintain. Oh well on a good note met w/a contractor today to bid on a project for our home. DD turned 7 yesterday. Hope you all have a great weekend if I don't check in.

I really feel like I dont belong here anymore.... I was at goal last year then gained back 20#... having a terrible time losing it again.... I have lost 5 of it but cant lose that last 15.... i am working my butt of with cardio 5-6 days a week strength training 2 days a week and people keep telling me maybe i am gaining muscle and it weighs more so maybe i wont lose it but i just dont want to accept that.... I want to get back to where i was....

I had a wonderful day with an old friend yesterday. Unfortunately, she is dealing with the effects of a lifetime of obesity--I have to be more mindful of pace and stamina with her than I am with my 90 year old mother. She is losing weight (again) from a high over 400. She knows that if she doesn't keep at it this time she's headed for a wheelchair. But we had a wonderful time and a great lunch at an Indian restaurant. I had a moderate dinner and my husband thrust an ice-cream bar at me when he came home from working on the boat, so that certainly took it over the top. My weight is up a pound from yesterday but I'm hoping that will be gone again by tomorrow. Looking forward to a sunny weekend.

The snow has ended. Hopefully it's done for good now. I did my run on the treadmill yesterday and I will be doing another treadmill run today. Hopefully that will be it and I'll be able to head outdoors again. I've finally started to take control of my sugar habit again. I was up almost 5 lbs. I've got 3 to go until I'm back to where I want to be and I know I can do it.

Mornin all! Working on hitting the reset button. It's been a tough week dealing with the death in the family. I didn't make too many bad choices but the deep lazy, no energy feeling has set in.

Tomorrow is the service so I'll be glad to get through that and try to regain some focus.

a hour of water jogging and the a 45 min slow paced water exercise class will start my day off, and then it's tutoring around noon. Cold, wet and dreary here. Feels more like late November instead of the beginning of May. Sure wish Spring would come and stay.

MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Still sick and sunburned. :(

Had a super busy day yesterday. Did my cardio, meal prepped all morning, cleaned and got things ready for our hike. We went for our hike in the early afternoon, about an hour and a half. Got home, more cleaning up, made my late lunch (I've been starving the last two days probably from this cold). I made mint chocolate chip frozen yogurt, made the kids their dinner, beef tenderloin, apples, cinnamon, nutmeg with steamed cauliflower, asparagus and applesauce. They ate their dinner outside and I enjoyed my frozen yogurt. Then bathtime and bedtime! I'm exhausted, been so busy the last two days. Just about to do Ripped in 30 with JM and my lower body and then cleaning the house and going for a walk to the store later.

I've been on track with my nutrition the last 3 days. Let's keep it rollin'!

Bet you're counting the minutes, Toni. Congratulations everyone who has made it through this week making good choices. I'm done with this week's school tours - we have a bunch next week and some the following and then we're done.

My big triumph yesterday was doing 2 sets of 15 push-ups. VaBeach - I'll see ya soon. Yeah. they were not too deep but they were the real thing.

Our son returns from NOLS tonight. Eager to see him and hear his stories about wilderness training. I know he's been climbing for 10 days on the last leg of his 3 months away. It's his favorite thing so I know he's probably going to feel great.

Not drinking enough water lately and am going to make sure I get in all my glasses today.

Ah, thankfully, woke this morning to see my weight back down to with in range. At 142.2, but a little lower on my hydration % than I like to see. Still, got to watch it close so that I can remein in goal range for this next challenge....so grateful for this group that helps to keep me accountable. Early day at work today and tomorrow and then serving on lights at church this Sunday. Weather has taken a turn and after a high of 85 day before yesterday, we are looking at a high of 45 today - Blech! Just wish we could have a month of spring before the summer hits.

Sounds like you did well.

Morning run, Weight Watchers meeting and then spending the weekend with 2 of our grandsons. We will be working in the yard, cleaning a chicken coop and taking them for ice cream and pizza.

Good morning! It's Friday!

Rain held off yesterday long enough to get our long walk in. Today is 30 min elliptical 60 min RIPPED class.

Seminar went well and I exercised good judgment and control over the nutrition provided. But I'm still slacking at tracking .

So excited to be headed over the River and past the woods to granddaughter's house we go. After seminar which ends at 5:10 pm.
