Felt like a harder day to stay on track with my eating....more snack food even though it was healthy like humus and veggies and crackers ...just made it harder to track my consumption. Tomorrow is another day!!

What a gorgeous weekend! Saturday was lovely, went to my inlaws for the day with my husband and kids. We were finally able to book a beach cottage on this island we live near. We had to wait until last minute for my husband to find out when his vacation time is. So we're lucky we were able to book the place and lucky we found a nice one! It is a bit larger and more pricey than we had planned but I love it. Can't wait.

Caught a good base tan on the patio. We walked with the kids down to the lake and they picked dandylions the whole way. Ate too many cookies and tried to eat a second piece of my MIL's homemade pecan pie with frozen yogurt... so did my husband, it was so delicious. Ugh, bad idea I couldn't finish it and was so stuffed after it hurt. My husband was also feeling the pain. Feeling guilty, I definitely way over did it Saturday, food-wise. Trying my hardest to get back and track and stop falling for these binges!! They're horrible. I'm good for a couple of day and then I go a bit crazy....

Anyways, Sunday was blah... had a lazy, rainy day. Decided to take a rest day from working out because I woke up sore. Prepped a bunch of food all morning and then sat around all afternoon.

Today I had a super pumped cardio workout. I've had a ton of energy today after my laid back weekend. Did lots of cleaning and just got home from a power walk to the grocery store with my youngest. We took a nice long detour so we could admire everyone's gardens and green, green lawns after all this rain we've been getting. The next couple days look absolutely gorgeous! Going to be taking lots of walks, gardening, catching some sun and maybe visit a provincial park on Wednesday or Thursday. Planning on making my own pistachio flavoured frozen yogurt, hope it turns out!

I couldn't stand it any longer so I ran last night. 3.75 miles in about 35 minutes. (If I mapped it correctly,) This morning I did Hip Hop Abs and walked with a coworker for 30 minutes. So far, so good!

Happy Monday!!!! My workout today so far is dealing with a frustratingly s l o w computer. My work does not want to upload. I set up half the night trying to get it to work and meet an early morning deadline. It hasn't happened yet. I rebooted just now (again) and it is still hanging up on a download. Grrrr! Gotta go---

Otherwise, food choices, amounts and exercise are in good standing! YAY!!!!

I had a wonderful day yesterday and had the energy to get a lot of things done, like bake both my rye and whole wheat sourdough breads, laundry and general cleanup.

Oneweigh.. I've been really cold too all winter, more so since I lost weight and wear base layers.. used to be called "long underwear" in the old days and fleecies etc.. even 2 pairs of socks all winter!!! I've added cayenne pepper to my health regime to try and warm up my body.. I was wondering about thyroid also..

Ahh, Monday! I wore an extra layer of clothes and grabbed my rain boots this morning. I've been so cold that I'm beginning to wonder if I need to have my thyroid checked. We got out in the boat for a bit yesterday but the wind came up suddenly and we had a little adventure getting back to the marina. Had a fun time with the family birthday party and ordered what I wanted. It's a place where they plop down the nutritional information along with the regular menus, I can't say I didn't know I was eating an 1100 calorie plate of pasta! We didn't have lunch, so I ended up "only" about 500 calories over for the day. emoticon

Weight is still holding steady. Was a little over my nutrition range yesterday, but also ran 10K which gave me a little more wiggle room. Was hoping to do another run today, but will probably check out a new DVD and do some strength training instead. Have tons on stuff to catch up on around the house. Some food prep to do and laundry and shopping and then tonight going to meet up with my besties for our womens Bible study. Will just have to watch the nutrition today because we always do snacks. Luckily, I am bring some of them, so there will at least be some healthy(er) options.

Morning everyone! Just doing my usual routine this morning with a little ST and breakfast. I am keeping an open mind about whether or not I am going to go to the gym since I was starting to feel sick last night and feel much better after I did a bunch of tea/medicine/gargling/etc., but my throat is still sore right now and I don't want to overdo it.

Had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful and we accomplished alot. Ran both days, had my first softball practice in over 20 yrs. (I did pretty well too) Rain is in the forecast today which hopefully will mean a nap this afternoon. I really do need one. I need to end the sugar thing I've been on. I'm up almost 5 lbs. and it has to end. Unfortunately we have cake in the house which I love. I will have to make everyone eat it so it goes away within the next couple of days.

Maree - I'm rootin' for ya this afternoon as you deal with Something. Remember - deep breaths and also - it's not important to be right. it's important for it to work.

I love my sunshine yellow raincoat and it's raining down here on the farm too so I'll be wearing it today. Back at work after 5 days of being out of the office. I think this week will be a "normal" week but it's crammed full of deadlines. The nice thing about normal weeks is that I get so many chances to work out at the gym. today it's stationary bike and free weights. woo woo.

Great plan Toni. I got up and rode my exercise bike in my room LOL. But it was 4 am, so riding outside is not an option. I have zumba tonight as well. I did pretty well yesterday with good food choices. I am hoping for the same thing today.

Good morning! Yesterday was pretty good. Preparation for today went well and I got to spend some time outside washing the car and walking in the park with my fitness buddy. Nutrition was better. I so appreciate encouragement received!

This morning is 30 min cardio and 60 min ST class at the gym. Big challenge at work this afternoon and I'm envisioning my teammates arm in arm with me (I love that!). I'm grateful for my friends here.
