I walked the dog 4 times 30 minutes each. He loves going outside in this great weather. I took Mom to the grocery store. I cooked stuffed peppers. I used turkey instead of ground beef. It was a great meal and have plenty for tomorrow. Linda from bean town
Good Afternoon from Indiana! Overcast and cool today, but still beats the arctic cold. I can still get out and do things in this weather (except when it rains or is too wet) .
Picked lettuce and onions from the cold frame yesterday. Whoopi! I LOVE fresh lettuce. However, my husband just not get the fact that I really like green onions and never ever plants enough for me. He is in charge of planting so I comply, even though every year for 30+ I encourage him to plant more. lol
On track with a weigh in today of 127.4. and in my range. Actually, a little below, but thinking about moving my target down from 135 to 130. I have been getting consistent below 130 readings off and on for about a month now.
Eating hasn't been a problem except a few nights ago I got the turkey breast meat out and did a little binge eating--ugh the next morning left me bloated, loaded, ikky feeling and not especially happy with myself. Back to normal now, I think. Wondering if I gave in to the turkey because I needed extra protein or was it an emotional binge??? . . . . . hmmmm, may have to get back to you on that. But, for now, just dismissing and moving on. I got past it and that is most important.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Hi team! It's almost 11:00 and I'm still in my pjs! Need to get moving on some housework. Also have to make my grocery list and get to the store. It is supposed to be beautiful today - high of 76. DH has already announced that he will be watching the draft all day. I need to get the girls out of the house and do something out in this beautiful weather.
I thought I would share that I just signed up on physicsdiet.com. Lots of people on the maintainers challenge do it. It really takes the drama out of the high number and low number days and lets you see what your weight is really doing over time. Give it a try!

I've been doing OK on nutrition the past few days but haven't had much energy and the scale doesn't want to move. Sis-in-law's birthday dinner tomorrow evening which is at a restaurant that has nutritional info on line, ranging from depressing to shocking. Oh well, it's one meal, so I'll eat what I want and enjoy. Hoping to get out in the sailboat this morning before the weather gets any worse. We had beautiful weather during the week when we had to work!

I'm feeling pretty good today and have shopping at the health store and a walk at the beach with the dogs this morning.
I'm changing my eating around a little as I've not been doing that much lately. I'm trying to eat less gluten to see if that helps some of my intestinal distress I seem to get a lot. I'm not sure it's the culprit though.. but shall see..

Kept way to busy a schedule this past week, but finally had a little rest last night since my running buddy cancelled. Feeling a little more rested and got some chores done, now to run (literally) out to the nail salon, get the nails done and run home in time to shower and change before closing at work 1-10. Also, saw my drop of weight on the scale stay consistent for three days in a row - putting me within my goal range for all THREE DAYS and that hasn't happened in a LONG time. Hoping to keep it there with my runs today and tomorrow and then some strength training on Monday (my day off). Thinking I'm finally starting to see the light and can get down ti the lower end of my range and work on seriously maintaining before I think about going any lower.

Once again, low end of range for nutrition, but not much cardio. Our hotel room is right near a club, and they have loud music on weekends until late - so I was tired much of today. Managed to get in some walking, plus did our laundry.

Good morning and welcome to the weekend everyone. I almost feel guilty, I had not meetings, no conferences nothing this last week, so was able to stay on track and actually was able to get into the water for some exercise. Today is a 5 mile hike and nature adventure with the boy scouts and the weather is sunny and suppose to be in the mid 60's which is just perfect for the activity. Hope everyone enjoys the day.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it
Good morning, everyone. Time for catered food to get healthy in this country, that's what I think. In the meantime I guess we have to be Spark ninja eaters to navigate what we are served during meetings when we are usually sitting all day too!! What I know is Swede and Maree are up to it all and will figure it out.
I sometimes pack my own break food for meetings and lately I try to stand in the back to listen to speakers at conferences, or at least take frequent "stand in the back" breaks.
Hanging out with DH today. Fingers crossed for taking our kayaks out for a first spin of the season. Yahoo. Have a great Saturday, mates.

Home at last - and it feels so good. the conference was wonderful and the food was abundant as expected. My plan to stop between every bite was successful enough that if I gained anything it was not much more than a pound. I got a lot less exercise than I'd hoped but I did get some - yippee me. and I'm home now and can get to the gym this morning - so all is right.
It looks like a lot of us have been holed up in meetings, punctuated by high carb/high fat meals. Such is life and here we all are finding ways to tuck healthy days ... or even only healthy hours into our days. And that's the definition of maintenance.

good morning... i am back, i hope, to get back on track, after months of travel. as long as exercise was in overdrive, everything was fine, but the last week of conference food and being a guest with relatives pushed the scale to unacceptable heights. so starting over with tracking nutrition, and already did strength training this a.m.
now to keep it going...

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Ah, a day I could have slept late, but was up at about 3:30 a.m. Yesterday's RIPPED class energized me; great instructor and new material/music!
I have a "to do" list a mile long. I haven't decided on my fitness workout yet, but I am resolved to get the nutrition on track. Man, what a week of sweets, coupled with extra stress at work--a disaster "weighting" to happen. This coming week I have luncheon/seminar catered meetings 4 days in a row. Why do they come in clusters? I need to dig deep into my skills to take good care of myself and not over-indulge.
