ALL OF YOU CAN READ THIS.
I am driving. Drove to a neighboring town for lunch today with friends. We had such a good visit.
Was going to get a perm today but thought it might be a bit too much right now.
Saw the doctor's assistant Thursday and he was more than pleased with my progress and the bend in my knee. I go back in two months.
Today the PT came and he was also pleased with my progress. He even had me walking in my condo w/o the walker, just hanging on to his arm. I will see him three times a week.
My other knee pains more than the operated one and I limp because of it. I have limped for years.
People are so good to me and have been such a help. I have a wonderful church family and people from two other churches have visited and one couple really has helped me a lot.

Wow, did I sleep well last night, so I had no time to check in this morning. I finished my deadline project today just within deadline, so that is a relief. Also, a relief to know that both Boston bombers are off the streets, the second one now in custody. At least I hope that no more terror lies in wait. So sorry that all of the Boston folks had to suffer this tragedy.

This morning was 30 min elliptical, 60 min RIPPED class, and a chilly 35 min. lunch walk. Weighed in this morning and all the damage from last weekend was gone. Actually I never even checked to see how bad it was, but I am very relieved the "fat suit" didn't descend upon me and take over this bod I've worked so hard to nurture and develop. lol

I, too, have an aversion to throwing food away. I would rather freeze portions than throw them away. Something I'm sure my "depression era" mother ingrained in my bones. But I also remind myself that "I am not a garbage can" so if it needs to be thrown away, I can live with that.

Okay, exhausted and heading to bed.

I wish I had your energy to clean. I am in lock down here in Boston, MA. I am not suppose to leave the house. I have been taking my little doggie out any way. I exercised this morning and checked my weight. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

Hi everyone
I was awake at 5am with a stiff sore body. I think I slept in one position too long, so got up and did about 30 minutes of yoga stretching, then tried to get back to sleep.. managed that for half an hour.. I'm feeling better now from the mini yoga session!

Hope everyone has a fun active weekend!

Hi Everyone,
having reached my goal just yesterday, I went to the Adidas Outlet-Store and treated myself to a new pair of running shoes - in bright turquoise!! Got home, changed into my workout clothes and took the new shoes for a test run - I must say, they are super light and comfortable! Hope all you brave Sparkies have a lovely day!

TGIF! Thanks for starting my day with a laugh. I know that feeling that your fat suit is just waiting to ambush you! I was tired last evening so I did the necessary house work but didn't get started on my sewing project. My husband says the sailboat head is now functional, so I need to get busy to make the privacy curtain! emoticon It doesn't sound like it'll be sailing weather yet this weekend, but we'll probably spend some more time working on her.

Good morning all. Can't make my yoga video work here at the hotel and the band width is a bit slow but did do a Spark 14 minute yoga work out with poses held a little longer cause the video kept stopping. But feels good and will continue with walking and stretching. daughter and grand daughter coming today to stay the night before I head home. Have my workshop planned and ready to go for today. All is well!!

Happy Friday Indeed! I made it to work today with a few detours. There is still a lot of standing water in the Chicago area after the epic storms.

Thanks to blogging, reading SP articles, message boards and my SP friends, I made it through a day stuck in the house yesterday! I stuck to my planned eating and got workouts in. It was a HUGE challenge! So thankful for SP!!!!

Looking forward to the weekend, even though I'm on call. Hoping for dry weather tomorrow to get a run in.

Bess, I had to laugh at your wonder woman comment! When that Spark Coach visualization exercise about throwing out my favorite food comes up, I just click through. If it's edible, it stays.

Wine dinner tonight with hubbie to end this long week. Next week is short, since we start vacay next Thursday.

Sound like a full day for everyone. For me its a support group meeting for my weight lose group, but first clean up time of the bedroom. A friend dropped off 2 bags of cloth for summer for me to try on since mine from last year are too big.(what a fun problem to have) but now they have to be put away and tryed on, instead of stacked all over the room. Can't wait till Tuesday when i get out of this pillow sling from shoulder surgery and can get back to water walking and jogging. 6 wks without exercise is driving me insane plus i gained 3 lbs from in activity, and want it off. But still within maintance goal. No spring here yet 6 inches of snow overnight uggg. Have a great friday everyone.

Happy Friday to one and all.

Took yesterday off to celebrate our anniversary which left me in the house with all the leftovers from the Anniversary Dinner from Wed. night. No. Of Course I didn't throw that last bit of cake in the trashcan. Who do you think I am? Wonder Woman? emoticon

By this morning I was feeling completely vulnerable and sure a gigantic fat suit was poised to fall on top of me and envelop my new slender body once again. I blogged about it today - in part to help me figure out what I need to do to feel safe. for that matter - I need to figure out where I'm going with this At Goal & Maintaining stuff.

I also blogged about it because I love to let my RightBrainWildChild and my LeftBrainSchoolMarm get in a word now and then.

So - stay dry, stay warm, stay feeling safe today my spark friends. Tomorrow will be better - at Tara.

CRAZY busy day yesterday, but got to visit with some old friends. Today won't be any slower. Going to pickup my race packet for Sunday after work today and then to our local homeless shelter to serve dinner before going home. Luckily, no water in the basement from the flooding yesterday. Hope it dries up and warms up just a bit for the race on Sunday!

Good morning team. Running this morning but wanted to say hi and happy Friday. I did yoga yesterday and the class was okay, but not quite right. I'm still on the hunt for a new one. Hope to have an active weekend and would really love to get out on the water in my kayak, but weather conditions will determine if it's reasonable.
