Great to see people doing well. Had a good first day working out of town....managed a 3 1/4 km walk in the morning and another 6km this afternoon after the day. Am tired now though and have to prep for tomorrow so this is a short check in. Take care all
The rain is pretty intense today! I got my walking in on the indoor track this morning and some more during lunch. Plan to lift weights @Y after work sometime tonight. Have to stock up on a few grocery staples and get some things planned out for lunch for the rest of the week.

I don't usually check-in until midnight, or after, which in some ways is futile, since a new thread starts in the morning. So for today I am getting here before noon. I have a wacky schedule so don't always get on the computer, until very late.
Lots of thunder storms rolled through last night and lots of rain. It's over, but wet and a bit muggy today.
I added a few (100) calories yesterday. Weight is down to 126 today, but feeling like it is a little too little for me. My chest bones are showing and I feel like I am looking anorexic . . . well sort of . . . I'm confused . . . I never saw my bones when I was fat, so this is new to me. Who would have thought I could ever have this dilemma!!!! This is where figuring out what is in my head vs what is actual is making me a bit nervous. . . . figuring out what is right for me.
Usually, I have a bigger meal now and then where I go over on calories and it averages out. Since I am still losing I figured I should add at least 100 calories to my minimum--currently about 1,300--1,400 with a lower exercise level. So today, I am going up to 1,500.
I LOVE being able to 'say' 126, but is it really healthy for me?
I understand, Kellibean, about being hyper sensitive to the news. I, too, have to pull away from such coverage for a time----just way too emotional.
Congrats to you, Bess! It is a happy place to be! Unfortunately, your puppy may not be so happy with his new head wear. Better safe, than sorry.
Have a GREAT day everyone!
Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Good morning! Had a bit of an incident with chips last night. That's a reminder why I don't buy them regularly. Tonight we'll have dinner out with friends before going to see Jersey Boys, so I expect I'll be over my range again. Got out for a bit of a walk yesterday and did some housework in the evening so that maybe on Thursday I can start on my sewing project (boat curtains) without stressing about what a mess the house is.
Good morning all. Glad we did some walking at the Grand Canyon yesterday but going out to sizzler for dinner was delicious but sabotaged what calories I had burned. You know it is bad when you shock your mom on how much you can eat :( Today is a new day and we are going to visit Bearizona followed by a hike in Sedona for some nice scenery and damage control, lol.

Morning everyone! I've been having kind of a rough week and underate yesterday on accident, plus I'm really tired from not sleeping well. =\ I'm going to work on getting back on track today. I'm about to do some core ST and eat a good breakfast. Hope all of you have a good day!

Good for you, but sorry for the puppy! Today is my rest day! I'm giving myself a few days off since I just finished 60+ days of Insanity. Then, I plan on running and possibly starting the first month of Insanity again. I don't want to lose the gains I've made.
I'll get a 30 minutes walk in with my dog, but it feels so weird not working out today!
Yesterday I officially hit - and slightly surpassed my original weight goal. What a wonderful feeling that was. Even though I was sick last week I'd been eating and drinking normally since Saturday so I knew this was not a water loss. It's the real thing.
Got in 30 minutes on the elliptical and my WW Active link say altogether I was active for an hour and a half beyond the base line. Good thing since today it's nothing but meetings and it's our 39th anniversary so I will NOT be getting to the gym today. Or tomorrow, for that matter - but tomorrow I'm taking the day off so I can get in lots of walks.
Little bad puppy is now sports an external pin with 4 bolts in it. She chewed off the wrappings overnight so now she will be wearing a funnel collar. Whew.
Hey team mates. Good morning. I agree the constant stream of news just raises our adrenalin for something we cannot act upon right now. I did decide to dedicate my workout today to those who cannot workout because of their injuries in Boston. Our moments of healthy life are precious and I want to remind myself of that.
Have an active day planned with ST, some cardio and a full work plate (no calories, ha!)
Blessings to each of you on your day ahead.

Had an okay, but very busy day - up at five and didn't top until I walked in the door last night around 7:30 to make some dinner, clean up from my run, eat and fall into bed. Taking the evening off from the crazy racing around. Will try to get some core work done between chores and get to bed early.

The house is quiet, toys and books and all the "stuff" that goes with having a 20-mo. old are put away and the process of returning all the bedroom furniture and accessories on to the new hardwood floor has begun. "Normal" feels good. What creatures of habit are we!
Today is 30 min elliptical and 60 min of RIPPED class at the gym. Rain will likely wash out any hope for a luncheon walk, but there is always hope.
My heart and prayers go out to all those affected by the bombing at the Boston Marathon. I expect we have some Sparkers who were running that day. How awful to have the euphoric feeling of having accomplished the finish of such a race after hours of fitness training with the horror of such terrorism. However, I agree with many of you who must shut off the news; it's just too much.
