Great day! Stayed on track, back into the 120's again. For exercise I walked a little, pulled weeds, hung out laundry, and did a little bit (like about 15 minutes) of weight lifting and floor exercises. Not earth shattering, but at least I wasn't a couch (computer) potato all day.
Thinking of Boston too! Why do people find pleasure in hurting, killing and scaring people?
Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

On the road with work today. Stopped to buy groceries and stocked up on broccoli, carrots, celery and some eggs. Also bought an almond tofu dessert that was delicious with a banana after dinner tonight.- haven't tried that before:) My exercise today consisted of walking only...I walked at every stop point for at least 20 minutes finding the uphill climbs to give it more of a workout. I also took a long walk when I arrived. Had dinner on the little deck at the hotel taking in the last rays of sunshine. It was beautiful!!Well fed, exercised and ready to work!! Have to get ready for tomorrow so will be burning the midnight oil after a day of travel......

Calories and exercise went well today. 1 more pound down on the scale today. Next goal for me is to get my BMI under 35. I'll reach that goal in about another 5 lbs. I know I'm far from goal weight, but I really enjoy this team and the encouragement I get from reading the posts. God bless you all.

Forgetting my lunch helped me stay in range yesterday. Did my walking breaks. I didn't have any fresh fruit in the house this morning, so I had a sample of baby food that I got with an order from someplace. Sure enough, someone else had already entered it into the Spark tracker! Pretty good, actually. Happy Baby banana, beet and blueberry.
Our little dog did have to have another operation - fortunately all the healing she'd done the past 5 weeks was not in vain but she has an exterior pin on her leg now and is confined to a crate except for controlled activity. Another long month ahead. Oh Callie. You rambunctious pup you.
Made great healthy choices yesterday - some merely as the result of a little morning planning - one because I was actually paying attention to how I felt and just pushed the already portioned controlled dinner plate away before it was empty. Yay!
and then ... ate the last bit of pumpkin/spice cake because it was the last bit. Ah well. win some, lose some.
Maree - glad you have some time to yourself now. Toni - happy to hear you're feeling better and chuckling at your husband with the twig pancakes. Mine calls the cereal "Straw" and says no thank you but he's come a long way in 5 years. Time was I kept him in line by throwing a pound of sausage at him. Now he is 75% vegan. Good morning team. Got up early and did a ST dvd. It was nice. It was so beautiful yesterday afternoon! DH got out of his funk and invited me to go to the driving range with him. We are very much beginners at golf, but look forward to learning and getting better.

Still in shock, as everyone is from the horrific events of yesterday. Finally heard late last night that all of my friend and friends of friends are safe. Had a little eating meltdown, but back on track and meeting with some of my running friends tonight for a memorial run.

Good morning. A shocking afternoon on a day that usually involves such healthy satisfaction in Boston. Thinking of everyone involved today, especially those in the target of those ugly explosions.
Finally recovered from a surprise viral deal that started late Sunday morning. Eating again and ready for a day of mild exercise and restorative movement. I did grill some fresh halibut and asparagus for dinner last night. And my husband is starting to enjoy lighter meals and food without extra bread, etc. I guess he is getting the deal: it's how I cook now. I usually have added things he wants to my menus--not always healthy--but now he's declining those. He also made me whole grain pancakes for breakfast and didn't once say they tasted like twigs!
