I haven't checked in for a few days, but staying on track as much as possible.
Weight was down to 128 this morning, so today was deemed, by me, as a free food day, but other than a double helping of tortilla chips, I did very well.
We went to French Lick this weekend and West Baden Resort. This afternoon we went on the scenic railway--which to be honest wasn't very scenic. The train ride was nice though. We walked and walked some more and took lots of pictures. If you all ever have a chance, you must visit. The place is awesome. (no, I didn't go to the spa, but hear it is wonderful). They did a wonderful job on the restoration and it definitely takes you into another era.
Getting our taxes done in the morning . . . nothing like the last minute. I HATE tax day!!!! Hubby ALWAYS gets upset and I ALWAYS get blasted for how much taxes we pay--like I can control that! Ugh! After 36 yrs of marriage, I can muddle through--it is his unpleasant ritual. Nevertheless, I do not look forward to tomorrow morning at any rate.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.
SW: 275-276 Ht. 5'6" GW: 135 (goal range: 130-140) CW: WAS 124.7 NOW: 143.5 My focus is health AND fitness! And LOSING 10 lbs. again! (I'm STILL getting there . . . )
Saw another small movement on the scale today - YEAH! Then, got out of the house early to do a middle sized run and then church, grocery shopping (note to self, do NOT go grocery shopping on a Sunday afternoon) and got everything put away. Now to do my logging of food, exercise etc etc and then cook some dinner and relax a bit. More errands and chores to do tomorrow but in the evening get to meet with my best ladies! WOOHOO! Better get in some extra cross training and cardio - food is always a danger when we get together and it seems the cardio helps to decrease my appetitie for sugar!

Good Morning all. Weekly weight this am 162.5, 2.5 below goal weight! Exercise is a problem at this time, I am having problems with my right knee replacement, in fact I will be having a revision on June 18. I am not looking forward to it but hope to be able to be free of pain and able to walk better afterward.

got a surprise phone call yesterday from a frantic staffer who wanted to know where I was. Ooops. I forgot to take myself off the schedule for Saturday and she didn't have a key to get in! There went my plans for a long outdoor walk in the spring sunshine. Instead I rushed into some clothes and drove to town. I did get in a short walk at lunchtime. I spent the day sorting through the books that need updating in our collection. We're in the 600's now - and nothing gets dated faster than books on interior decorating or Chilton auto manuals. Went to an art gallery opening to see a friend's exhibit and to an amazingly good Thai restaurant. Yes. The Massaman Curry was pretty high calorie - I ate only half of it. (still a lot but mmmm so tasty).
Today I will do a very abbreviated Saturday House Clean and draw. But I'll have a long walk outside too. today is a day that feels like love pouring down onto me. Can't ask for much better than that.

Howdy team mates! Quick check in this morning as I still have company and a full day ahead. The floor is installed in the bedroom, but still have all the trim, doors to reinstall, furniture to put back. And I would much rather be spending the day outside as it is going to be in the mid-70s today.
Yesterday DD decided to invite folks over in the evening for a bonfire and of course that means food. Lots of food, and I really went overboard. I don't like the feeling though, and prefer a more empty feeling in my tummy as opposed to a stuffed feeling. I'm so over that feeling!
