Morning everyone! Still crawling out of a hole from partying a little too hard on Friday night, heh. My coffee and my Taebo workout this morning felt extra good, though. Trying to get my stuff together so that I can run errands and catch up on stuff I had intended to do yesterday.
Have a great day all!

Up and at it today to get a few projects done before a walk with a friend this morning. Heading up into the woods for a birthday celebration at one of the cabins built on our local trails ....haven't been to this one yet so looking forward to enjoying the views from this vista. Discovered it was less of a hike than I hoped cause some of the people are not hikers so hence the 'real' walk this morning :) Got a lot done yesterday on 2 of the projects I need ready for my work road trip starting Tuesday...feels good. Happy Sunday all
I just want to thank everyone for your prayers and concern for me while I was in the hospital 3 days and in rehab one month. Thank you for all the goodies, and all of the messages. I have so many things to do and can't have my feet hanging down too much so please forgive me for thanking you this way. God bless all of you. Irene

My Spark site was so slow this morning that I gave up and then I got so busy.. too busy for my level of energy today and I didn't handle all the extra activiity very well. My athritis flares so easy and this winter i've been dealing with a bad case of raynauds in the fingers and toes and one fingernail is getting so bad I think I'll lose the nail.. add that to my wrist arthritis and i was kind of miserable to say the least..
I hope tomorrow is a better day and I can relax a bit more..

Hi there! I'm checking in quite late today. I was up before the birdies this morning getting ready to do the Chicago Tragic Events 5K tour.
Tons of fun with my kids even though it was freezing, had a bit of snow, rain and then heavy sleet for extra fun! Then the sun peeked out towards the end. It really was a great day. I highly suggest it if you ever get to Chicago.
Blog and pictures coming later.
Welcome to those of you new to checking in. Checking in here makes my day!
PoohScout1 and SemiSweetChick! Great to have you on board. I've only been part of this for a week and find it helpful along with my 5 gratitudes a day on another site. Keeps me focussed on my intentions and all that I have going for me! I woke up to snow on the ground this morning which confirmed how cold it was yesterday...I thought I was crazy bundling up for my walk yesterday but it was worth it cause I was warm while others were complaining of the cold!! Sky is dark this morning but I see some blue on the horizon so will hold off on my walk untill later today. I set aside today to continue on some work projects in readiness for my roadtrip next week so I'll hunker down and get those done while also starting to pack. Hope everyone has a great day and that your car is a quick and cheap fix LoGould. Glad to hear your son is doing better Toroise110!!!
1st time checking in here also so tjought i would join the fun. Busy day with boy scouts most of the day and then Lion Club activity this evening, so watching my food intake may be interesting. at least I'll get plenty of exercise being outdoors most of the day. cool here in Wisconsin high of 40 today but at least sunny had rain and snow the past 3 days. Pardon the typing as only have one arm as rt one is in sling. Had rotator cuff surgery 4 weeks ago.
MOVING AND MAINTAINING. Yesterday is gone, let it go, tomorrow hasn't happened, don't long for it. Today is the present .........enjoy it

Good morning team! I didn't check in much last week. Had a super busy week.
Up and drinking my coffee and eating breakfast. The kids and DH are still asleep. I have so many things I need/want to do today. After my breakfast settles, I'd like to go for a swim. I have a ton of laundry/housework I need to get at least started on. It is supposed to be pretty so I'd like to get the girls out of the house for a hike or maybe the park. I also have to get to the grocery store today. Phew! I guess I better get of the computer and get started!
Everyone have a sensational Saturday!

Well, today should prove to be an especially challenging day - emotionally, stress wise and therefore a nutritional timebomb. The car started to make thuding noises yesterday when I would turn corners etc. It sounds somewhat like the exhause is hitting the car (like a strap broke or something, yet no exhaust noise. I'm taking the car into the shop early and hopefully a friend will pick me up for our volunteer project and prayerfully, it will be a simple fix and my friend will be able to get me back to pick up the car so I can get to work from 11-8. If not, plan B will be to see if my sis will loan me the use of her car for a couple of days and maybe I can get one of my friends to get me from the project to my sis's house to borrow her car - then to work. Either way...I started the day with a healthy meal and from there on....the day is pretty much going to be a challenge.

Hello Everybody! Toni, my fellow dawn prowler, it's great to hear the good news about your son. Nothing so scary than knowing your loved ones are hurt or sick.
I am about 98.6% all fixed this morning. That extra day at home was just the ticket. I progressed slightly beyond bananas, rice, applesauce and toast to include a favorite spinach and fruit juice smoothie my family calls green drink. And I got in a lovely 1 mile walk with the dogs and Himself. After the rain. After the dog came home from the vets. After we picked up our taxes.
I'm still going to take it a little easy today but there will be push-ups.
Happy Saturday, mates. I'm up early, slurping coffee and looking forward to a laid back day.
Our son who injured a finger pretty badly while on his outdoor leadership trip two weeks ago, is healing well and about ready to go back to his team for the climbing portion of the work. It definitely lightens my heart to know he's okay and looking forward to getting on track with his dreams. It reminds me that detours and plateaus are hard for everyone.
Blessings to all of you as you head into the weekend.
