Late check in today after a busy but very productive day...even had a chance to hang my clothes on the line to dry today in the brisk, cool wind that blew today. Good news...have had to add an extra km to my walk in order to get a full 60 minutes in which is an amazing way to realize I am moving faster. Just came from a book launch for a friend whose 'local trail' book hit the markets today. Great to showcase all the work an amazing crew of volunteers, my partner included, who have committed so much time to making this wilderness trail such a wonderful one for the fit and not so fit alike. I was impressed. Have to finish up some work before lights out....yoga is my full on stamina one tomorrow at 7am so I need to be ready. Good night all.

Wow! I want to go to your local charity shop. I need to visit one. I also need new jeans and some light reading before I go to sleep. Thank you for the idea. I walked the doggie about four times today. I took Mom to the grocery store. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

Good Morning Team
I had a so so shop looking for smaller pants at the local charity shop.. I did find a pair of jean capris that are practically brand new and was amazed they fit.. and only cost $1.50!!! half price day.. My husband said they look like kids jeans.. that was music to my ears!!! I also found lots of good novels to keep me happy for the next 6 months of bedtime reading..
It's rainy here again, but not enough to stop walking the dogs.. then it's yoga day..
I hope everyone has a good day..

Good Morning all! I am 3 weeks out from excess skin removal surgery so am only able to do walking for my exercise. Haven't been given the go ahead to do any strength training as yet. Hopefully I will get the Docs go ahead on Tuesday. Have been doing very well with my nutrition. I look forward to being able to do more varied exercises and strength T. Have a great day!

I am so freakin stoked!! The crappy (cold, rainy...maybe even snowy) weather isn't even making me blue....I'm finally back under 150, and less than 2 pounds from my goal weight again!! Got in my ST @Y yesterday right after work--went home and put together a bookshelf and did a bunch of other indoor chores, because the weather isn't cooperating for outside work. I'd really like to finish getting the yard work done up tho--oh well--plenty of time for that. Have a great Thursday, everyone!

The weather wasn't so nice yesterday, so I didn't take walking breaks. I got the candy I'd been craving for a month and of course it doesn't have nutritional information, so I have to guess. I think when it is gone I'll be done with candy for a while. Weight hanging tight far higher than I'd like. I've just got to keep at it.

Yesterday was a busy day. The weather was nice all day so I washed the van and cleaned out the inside, played with my DD in the sunshine, daily at home yoga practice. It was a good active day. Today it's raining so I'm sure it'll be walking indoors with DD on my heels, yoga, and washing the inside windows. Fun Fun.
Bess I hope your feel better today.

Busy several days - calories in range, walked about 45 minutes, but very tired by late afternoon and so had a light dinner and not doing much. Tired!

Good morning all! I hope you feel better soon Bess!
I think I'm doing a little better than yesterday. I think the weather knocked it out of everyone yesterday.Everybody at work, even our dog!
My legs are still barking from working with the trainer Tuesday night. I have a run on Saturday so going to plan some easy workouts for the next couple days.
I hope everyone has a great day. We're closer to the weekend!

Good morning everyone - hope you are all well (or at least on the mend)! This cooler, icky grey weather seems to be draining alot of people. It sure make me feel more tired than normal. Weight is holding steady, sure wish I could see a move on the scale, but until I burn some more cals. I know that won't happen. Going to try to make it to the gym after work for Pilates, and maybe even get a mile or two in before hand, then going to meet up with some friends for an hour or so and then home to bed and to do it all again tomorrow. Got some healthy snacks in the car and if I can stick to that schedule, I should be able to negate the effects of a couple hundred cals of mindless snacking from the day.

Bess, I hope you feel better. I was so tired last night, that I ended up going to sleep at 9. Today I feel much better. I have been only getting 4-5 hours per night, trying to declutter and get things done at home. Yesterday I ws hungry all day, and ended up going over my calories for the day. So I need to figure this out better, so I don't regain.
I luckily am still maintaining, but I know if I go over any more; I will start gaining. hae a sparked day.

Home with a stomach flu bug - ugh. It feels funny to claim I'm still on a healthy living streak when I'm sick - but the worst is over and now I'm just really tired. thank goodness I have such fantastic staff at my library. Yesterday, when I realized I'd caught the same bug that laid my husband low I just told them "I'm going home. Make good decisions" and they said "take your germs away!"
gonna lie low today but I think I'll be on my feet again tomorrow.

Sounds like a satisfying project ahead for your family, Maree. I hope it goes well.
I had a big walking day (18K steps) yesterday and will take out the kinks in yoga today. I'll be working too and am looking forward to the day!

Good morning Maintainers!
Today is my long walk with puppy dogs and fitness buddy. 50 degrees out there right now but very wet after big rain came through yesterday. Weight and nutrition good at goal. Yaaay!
DD and GDD will be here tonight until Monday. She is a journeyman carpenter off work for a few days and she and DH are finally installing hardwood floor in bedroom. I purchased it last fall and it's been stacked in the living room way too long. So we'll be torn up but new floor! Grandma will be babysitting :)))
Busy day at work. Hope you all have a great day!
