Beautiful 70 degree day here today. After my son's swim class we went and had my iPhone replaced. Glad we had insured it since my dh shattered the screen when he accidentally dropped it. After lunch we played outside for a bit before taking a nap and taking the girls to their piano/guitar lessons.

I am getting back to my exercise again after a spell of ill health. My eating got a bit out of step too. I like my own routine so I look forward to catching up again , routine is a great help with healthy living . Irene
It sure sounds like everyone is gearing up for spring. I hung 4 loads of laundry outside yesterday and even the heavy towels dried.. today it's overcast and rain is forecast.
I've been struggling with feeling really cold since I lost weight and have to dress in many layers just to stay warm. I hope when the warmth of spring is here to stay I can show off my smaller body.. right now I still look heavier due to all the layers!! Anyone else have this problem???

Sounds like yesterday was a great start to the week for most of us. I took two walking breaks in spite of us being short staffed, kept to my nutritional limits, did three loads of laundry and worked on decluttering. Let's do it again today!

Another yoga fan, Celia!!! I'm off to my Rise and Shine Yoga class for 7am. Did a Y-spin class last night (Spin for 30 minutes, yoga for 30 minutes)....seems as long as the class has the name yoga in it, I'm more inclined!! Haven't got into the steps tracking but do like to track my mileage and lately I'm managing about 5k a day which feels good. Have a great day everyone!!!

Spring's finally here in the South as well. Yesterday I took a walk with my daughter (she's 4), she picked some of the flowers popping out around here, and then my daily yoga practice. I'm hoping for a nice walk and game of kick ball with DD today, if the warm weather holds.

Good morning!! Yesterday was a great day! I traded in my ST for yard work--raked in the yard for 90 minutes--still have plenty to do, but I got a great start, and I did it for twice as long as I would have done weights :) Took a nice walk with my daughter and my boyfriend too--both had invited me for same time, so of course she and I dominated conversation--he's a quiet man, and there was no way he'd have had an opportunity to squeeze in a word with the two of us. Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Good morning team! Spring seems to have sprung here in the Midwest too. Nice moderate temps yesterday but rain is forcasted off and on all week. Hoping for off between 5:30 and 7:30 tonight so I can meet up with a buddy for a run on our favorite trail....otherwise it's a bunch of laps around the track at the gym. Better than the treadmill though. Met up with some friends last night and really needed the down time and pleasant conversation. My mood is greatly improved! Headed off to work now - straight off to run then a few free minutes when I get home before I prep to do it all again tomorrow.

Hello to all my springtime bunnies. Lots of gym talk. We have only one gym around here and I've been a member of it since it opened. Alas - yesterday they didn't have the A/C cranked up high enough and I curtailed my workout as a result. We had sleet on Friday and it was in the mid 80's yesterday so I can sympathize with their dilemma. And they did have it on, it was just too hot for me. I got in 20 minutes of cardio but not as much strength training as I'd intended. I did get in my 2 sets of 12 push-ups though and that first set was deep.
Beach Weekend - here I come - only have to make it to 25 push-ups and I get the reward!
The next 2 days are just cardio days and my next session with the trainer is in the morning.
Good morning. Warm weather in Northern VA at last. Has me smiling. I'm looking for a new gym too, Kellieb, and am trying a few out first. Meanwhile will try to do ST at home. Did I just say that? How about I WILL do ST at home? Caught myself!

Had a good day yesterday.i noticed DP lowered my caloriemrange the other day. yesterday I managed to stay within it without too much efforet. I walked the path at work, enjoying the sunshine, went to yoga, came home and took the dog for a walk,
I'm going to have a couple stressful meetings today but its handled! Then my last meeting with the trainer tonight. My daughter recently became the GM of a local women's-only health club chain so I'm going to sign up with the club near me to give her a little sign up bonus.
