Not the best eatibg this weekend, but could have been much, much worse. Back on track today and not giving up. Actually saw a smalll drop over the course of the month. Not nearly what I would have liked, but at least the scale is heading in the right direction. Fitness is improving, again, not as much as I would like, but better....more consistent, and, I have signed up for a half-marathon (in six weeks) which I will probably end up doing a run/walk, but with the 10K in 3 weeks and then the half after that, it should keep me consistent on getting in the training miles.

I'm hitting reset TOMORROW. I forgot that we were having a retirement party at work today for a much loved coworker. I tried to be prudent, but . I hope I remember how uncomfortable I've felt the last few days and get it through my thick skull that I know how not to feel that way! I did go for a walk this morning so that's a positive for the day.
I had a wonderful Easter. My Mom cooked a pork roast, potatoes homemade applesauce and carrots. That is my favorite meal. For dessert we had a chocolate truffle bombe cake. That was the only thing I ate that was not healthy. I only had a sliver so I did really good. I calorie banked throughout the week, so I was good for the week.
This morning I got up and went to the pool to do my strength training and water aerobics. For some reason I am really tired. I could crawl into bed and sleep right now.
Hi All, I went out to dinner yesterday. Drink water, ate the meal and a dessert. I wish I had skipped the dessert. I had half a piece of chocolate cake. I split with Mom. I ate healthy today and walked the doggie three times already. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

After indulging yesterday, I'm trying to get back on track. I had given up sweets for lent so I made up for it yesterday. I found that my stomach wasn't very happy with me, not even today. I did get out for a 3 1/2 mile walk even though it's cold and windy. At least the sun is shining.
French silk pie for breakfast! I've done that before. I figure if I'm going to have something sweet, have it early that way I've got the whole day to burn it off and I can watch my calories the rest of the day.
Hi all, busy and likely difficult week ahead. We are heading to Texas this Friday to attend the funeral of a dear friend over the weekend. Trying to keep a reasonable balance of food and activity; amazing how a run can lift my spirits and help me process everything.

Morning everyone! I was busy entertaining the last few days and did not check-in, but I still was tracking everything. I overindulged a little but also got in more activity than usual, so it seems like it all evened out because I maintaining my weight over the last week. I'm about to start my day with some ST. Hoping to hit the gym this afternoon, though my gym buddies have been wanting to go outside a lot more, which is nice for the beautiful weather, but does not give me as intense of a workout (can't run due to arthritis in my knees).

Happy April Fools Day! I did well yesterday. I stayed in my calorie range, but at the very top edge of it. I did all the cooking and tried really hard not to "taste test" too much. I skipped the deserts, but had a 1/2 piece of pie for breakfast. French Silk, it's good at any meal.
It was actually a difficult day yesterday full of boredom eating. I've blogged about it this morning to put things into perspective, which always helps to prevent it happening again ... at least too soon. And I'm ready to start a new streak too. So. Today is day one of living a healthy life, making healthy choices. Perfect way to start a new month.
