Hi All, I celebrated my Mom's Birthday and my son's B-day with some cake. Yes I have gained a couple of pounds after tomorrow will work hard on losing again. I will be throwing away any fattening food soon. I will be exercising more. Best wishes, Linda from bean town
Just checking in--I hope to declare "maintenance" soon!! I think that means I will let my body be "set" at 150 even though I would like 145! LOL
Ready through these comments, I am already maintaining--doing active "stuff", watching what I eat but letting myself have some treats--and once in a while, eating the BOX of cookies. That is life--getting along okay and then maybe not!
Congrats to all on the little non-scale victories--avoiding the temptation, picking fish instead of ham, etc!!

I just ate a box of cookies. I've been feeling stressed and kind of irritated the last few days, not sure why. Also have been frustrated that I gained 2 pounds while I was eating really well. Sigh.

I have a busy day today. I enjoyed my swim so much last saturday that I've planned to do it again today. I also have to go grocery shopping and color easter eggs. DH told his grandma that we would come out for a visit. All this before 6:30 because we are supposed to play cards again tonight. Well the pool opens in 30 minutes so if I'm going to do it I better get going.

chowing down on my oatmeal and blueberries, getting dressed and ready to head out the door within the hour to meet up with friends for a run at the Arboretum. Gonna shoot for 6 miles since I only have 3 more weeks until the 10K there. Don't know if that will be doable, but even if I have to run/walk the last of it, it will be a great work out! Then, home to shower and change for out evening Easter service - and get together clothes for the two services and brunch tomorrow. Monday is the vet visit for the cat and a meeting with the non-profit fitness group I volunteer with and then back t owork on Tues. Glad I took some time off of work this weekend! Hope you all have a blessed Easter and enjoy your time in worship and with family.

Good morning from Virginia! It's a gloriously bright blue day and the promise is temperatures in the 60s!!! Yippee.
Resisted temptation yesterday so kept well within my calorie range. I got in lots of wee little walks throughout the day and when I got home Himself and I took a walk out to Robert's in the early evening - through the north woods path and out along the farm lanes. I'm so lucky that my back yard is woods and fields. This is Himself's birthday weekend and food will be a serious temptation. I've been banking weekly points/calories so that I can have cake but I'm going to be mighty careful. My monthly weigh in is on Tuesday and I want to see that last pound gone.

I cooked a salmon dinner for my family to celebrate Easter last night. No one missed the ham (-: My son called after a 25 day hike with National Outdoor Leadership School in Utah. He had been out of touch and called right after his first shower! He sounded so full of life and happy. The call brought me such joy! I'm looking forward to an active day doing some ST as well as a stint on the elliptical.

Sounds like you early birds are off to a great start! So much on my agenda today, much of it involving fitness (yoga, volksmarch), but I also have a lot of errands and other things on my to do list. The best one is the massage scheduled for noon.
I had slept, well that is a bonus. I did a few extra minutes on my morning exercise, I had a call from one of my 5 sons, so enjoyed swapping news with him. Then walked to local post office and butchers shop. Yes still got a family owned butchers shop here, it does very well. Then a brisk walk back . Now it's coffee time and scan the daily papers time. No plans really for the rest of the day, Enjoy your Easter. Irene

Workout will be chasing granddaughter, Easter egg hunting, family day and Easter dining today. Beautiful forecast. DD and I hope to get in a run. Leg of lamb is the entree with big salad, asparagus on the grill, bread, desserts.
Granddaughter is stirring so I'm off to "work" :)))
