Hi on 4th April. I did go to the dentists . I m on antibiotics as I have an abscess under a tooth. Then I had to go to the doctors as the vertigo attacks I had last week returned. The doctor did lots of tests t can only find raised blood pressure . I do not usually have high Bp . I am on more pills to counteract the dizziness also to go for more bP checks, it is ne thing after another lately but I a still here! Irene
Tuesday check in. I don't think I will be eating chocolates today, I have had tooth ache for days. Trying to ignore but it won't go away. So I made an appointment to go the dentist this afternoon. I am big coward re dentists! Irene
Bit late me checking in on Monday evening. I made today a fresh start and did ok , I did extra exercise, I planned my meals better . I had set other goals which I achieved. Good day till evening when I ate two chocolates from an Easter gift I had. . Off to bed soon so I will not be tempted by any more chocolates! Irene

The last two days got busy . . . been doing OK on the food and so so on exercise.
Next week I am keeping my grandson during spring break--that should be fun keeping him busy! I'm thinking bicycling would be a fun thing to do with him and we'll probably hit the forestry at least once for a hike. Tomorrow, I am showing houses all morning and then family is coming in Saturday night. Sunday is Easter and family day and I am always excited to be with my clan. I hope it is nice enough to get a walk in too.
Have a GREAT Saturday!!!
Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Home with the girls today. DH's school (he's a middle school teacher) lost their Good Friday off when they had to close during a snow storm, so he's at work today. I need to get my shopping done for Sunday and get a run in today. Tonight is poker night for me and DH. YAY!
Everyone have a great weekend!
~Mandy~ I'll make it to the moon, if I have to crawl.
All I can say for yesterday is: potato chips. What is it with me and chips? I'm looking forward to a busy weekend. Church tonight starting at 6:30, tomorrow at 6:00 and Sunday at 8:00am. During the day Saturday we're planning a little road trip to look at salvage parts for the sailboat. This year the family decided to make reservations for Easter dinner, so I'm looking forward to everyone getting to relax and enjoy.

Morning team - blessings to all of you who are remembering Good Friday today. May you all be blessed in yorur observance. Met up with friends last night for our first adventure run of the season. They have a new director for them this year and instead of making all the check in points restaurants and retail establishments, they added some in fields and parks etc where there were physical challenges, sprints, burpees etc to complete in order to win your tickets at those spots. It was tons of fun and many in one of my club won prizes....then they feed us at a local Mexican restaurant afterwards. I also met a couple of folks that do a weekly bike ride from a couple towns south up to my town and back on Fridays. I usually can't make it, but am off today, so I'm heading out for an oil change and then to meet them for a ride and then clean up for services this evening. Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

Amanda (POOKASLUAGH), way to go with the consistent weight loss! Irene, you sound back to perfect health now.
The jet lag broke! Last night I was soooo tired. I started telework very early because the jet lag was still waking me in the middle of the night. I took part of the day as sick leave to get an eye exam (found Salzmann's nodular degeneration on my corneas to go along with the lattice degeneration on my retinas...gulp!) Then I had ST with my trainer at the time my body normally crashed, but I powered through, made my chiropractor appointment, then went to dinner with DH at our favorite pizza place (Brixx...lots of lower calorie/lower sodium options). We were both pretty wiped out, and the place was noisy, so we ate fast without much talk and went home. In bed by 8:30 and for the first time since I got back, I slept with few interruptions nearly to my alarm. I feel SO much BETTER today!
Great news, Irene. So glad you are back from vertigo and enjoying life. Maree, you are off to a "movin'" weekend: wow! I'm cooking a family meal tonight and celebrating Easter with my grand kids on Sunday. Plan to get some ST in today. Happy Friday all!

Yes! Happy Friday spark pals. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better Irene. Hope this is your last vertigo attack.
Yesterday was my awesomely wonderful strength training class with the personal trainer at the gym. I absolutely love this class. Because I knew I had a loooooong day ... 11 hours ... I asked him to go a little easier on me. Last time I was wiped out for 2 days afterwards. We worked on balance - an often neglected part of fitness. This involves lots of interesting stuff that strengthens my core. We worked especially on the back muscles and the legs. Adding a weekly session with a person who's completely focused on helping me has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. I like classes and I am easily motivated anyway - but this intense concentration on all things muscular and skeletal is such a high I barely need to mention the physical benefits it brings.
Ate well too but Thursdays are always all about getting stronger.
My butt and thighs are finally starting to feel a little better after Tuesdays intense workout. Tow walking breaks at work today. I have to finish Easter shopping as my family is getting together tomorrow.
Then tonight if there is time, maybe a couple SP workouts. The cardio kick start workout REALLY kicks my butt!! I highl recommend it if you really need cardio!
Yesterday I recovered from the vertigo attack I had. I felt well and revitalised I got back to my daily exercises and a walk. Now on Easter weekend I have little planned but the days somehow fill and overflow! But I enjoy all I do, and count my blessings. Have a good Easter, Irene.
