Tues. nights are a challenge! Game night with my sis and her hubby and we take turns making dinner for the evening. I'm making pulled pork sands, chips, salad and German Chocolate cake and have to smell it cooking all day. I will have the salad and hope all enjoy the rest!

Hi Team! I'm checking in later than normal due to the fact that I slept so well!! Yaay! I'm hoping this is a new trend.
I was proud of my snow shoveling yesterday morning--we ended up with 18.5 inches and made the national news! We have a very long driveway and it took me about 100 min. all by myself. It's gratifying to see the payoff from a healthy lifestyle and blessing of good health. I'm also proud of my strong work ethic as several didn't make it in to the office. It takes a lot more than that to keep me away.
Nutrition was good yesterday (still need to add to tracker) and we celebrated some good news with grilled marinated flank steak--one of my favorites.
Today I did my usual Tues routine of 30 min treadmill interval and 60 min pilates. Felt a little muscle ache in my back from yesterday, but not much considering! I am enjoying full sunshine and watching all this snow melt away. Forecast of 50+ this weekend! Yaay!

Hello all! It's another cold day but plans to finish getting my taxes ready to meet the accountant . . . a good inside job! I am still reeling over my recent 10+ lb. (in a week) weight drop . . . amazed actually. I just wasn't expecting to lose anymore, but 3 days in a row I've checked in at 125. I wasn't even trying to lose anymore . . .
Got back on the exercise track yesterday (after laying off 3 days from being sick). I was a little concerned since 'formal' exercising has been almost as elusive to me as losing weight used to be. I got in about an hour doing weights, jump rope and other moves. Whoohoo! I might just get this fitness thing figured out after all!!!

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

This morning started off good. I got in my workout and now I have to do laundry. I have my food and snacks planned for today. I'm also babysitting later this afternoon. Yesterday evening I felt bored and restless, so instead of eating I made myself help others. It felt good and it got me over the boredom hump. I also took a hot bubble bath.

I'm dragging and I'm not sure why. I managed to do a couple of loads of laundry last evening, but just felt drained. Went over on calories yesterday because I stopped at a local bakery and got two hot cross buns. Time to get to work!

Not a great day yesterday - was feeling very drained and had to close at work. Lots to do to get ready for out of town guests plus animals and a handicapped sister at home just wore me out. Didn't get to the gym as I had planned and didn't do too bad nutritionally until someone brought in buffalo wild wings at work. They sure are good, but 440 cals for 5 boneless wings?!?! WOW! Then wedding cookies did me in! Back on track today though and going to get some grocery shopping done, prep a BUNCH of veggies and go to the gym before lighting practice for Easter services. Have our first Adventure run of the year Thrus eve and taking off Fri-Mon for all the church activities and to spend some time with family. Hope everyone has a great week!

Happy Tuesday! Even though yesterday was stressful, I ate well and did some good workouts. The rest of the week should be slightly less hectic (knock on wood!). I've still got some stuff to mop up today, but with a little more time to do it.
Really looking forward to Thursday and my best friend getting into town!!

Hello, forgot to set the alarm clock but I still made it to work on time!
I did very well nutritionally yesterday. I was surprisingly tired last night but forced myself to hit my bicycle DH mounted in the house for the winter, then did 10 minutes on the elliptical. That knocks off two squares on my March health challenge card at work.
I meet with the trainer tonight, looking forward to the burn!
Healthy day all around yesterday - even a Mental Health day that took a lot of courage. Doing the big girl thing earned me a reward too. I ordered a jacket I had tried on a week ago when I visited the city. I know it'll fit and it fills a gap in the spring and fall wardrobe. Yay me!
I'm up early and did a ST dvd. Eating breakfast and have a healthy dinner planned. Lunch is a question mark as I'm going to a noon meeting. Will load up on veggies and easy on the bread. Weight is slowly but surely coming back down after my spring break gain.
We are supposed to have a high of 60 today. Woot!

Checking in but not reporting or duty, I am on sick list with vertigo, bad dizzy spells , I am walking round slowly with my head still. Hoping the room stops whirling round my head so fast Thinking will draw a big sun to remind myself what it looks like,
I just read our posts from yesterday and the truest thing to say is that we are all ready and wanting to see SPRING! Wishing everyone some sunshine in your day, even if we have to manufacture it. Remember drawing big yellow suns on paper as kids? I am thinking I may need to do just that (-:
I have a mini retreat day planned for me. My husband is out of town and I'm taking a break from work. So today is retreat and restore day with some exercise in the mix as well.
