We had more snow here, too. Light flurries all day. I got in 55 minutes of Insanity and 30 minutes of walking the dog. It was the first day back from spring break and I could tell most of my students did nothing "mentally" during break!! Now, we get to do standardized testing....so frustrating!!
I am back down a tiny bit! .4 above my goal! Learning what my 'buffer' is!
My new motto: (AS OF 1-23-2014) "I AM SUCCESSFUL IN EVERYTHING I DO!" "My religion is kindness; my church is nature; my God is a feeling, lives deep inside; my job is to be conscious; my path is forgivness; my religion is kindness and I practice it everyday"! Song & lyrics by Karen Drucker

Hi team. I went to the aquatic center today and worked out in the therapy pool for over 2 hours. I fit into my new size S bathing suits. My other suits were all stretched out. Now I want a quick lunch, Lean Cuisine and a shower. I have to go grocery shopping today.
Good Morning all! We have snow too, but not accumulating much. Just a light, wet covering and slushy. I am not complaining . . . it will be hot and humid soon enough. I've got lots to do inside, so it's not too troublesome other than I am anxious for it to feel like Spring. What can I say . . . this IS Indiana. lol
I am down to 125 today (and yesterday) after 4 months of maintaining at 134-137. I figure my little added exercise (of only 6 days, before I got sick) broke a 4 month plateau or something. Wow! 10 lbs. in a week though? Incredible! I never lost this much at one time even when I weighed 275. I'll take it, but now must reexamine my calorie needs and such.
My cold/flu is moving through and feel about 60% better. A few more days and I'll be good as new and back to exercising. I am going to do a little something today and ease back into it as my body starts to feel better.
Have a wonderful wintery, Spring day!
Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.
SW: 275-276 Ht. 5'6" GW: 135 (goal range: 130-140) CW: WAS 124.7 NOW: 143.5 My focus is health AND fitness! And LOSING 10 lbs. again! (I'm STILL getting there . . . )
A little snow here too :) It's almost over!! Had a high sodium day yesterday even though the eating was pretty good otherwise--of course there was the cheesecake on Saturday--scale up higher than I like to see it...5.2 over goal :( I think that is my highest in over a year. I'm on top of it though! ST@Y after work today--I don't think I'll be biking there with the new batch of snow--I'm not prepared for icy patches :)
Highest weight: 248 August 2010 Reached goal weight of 148 Feb 23, 2012 1/29/14-Gained back 20-peeling it off!
Should I mention that our temps are supposed to get up to 60 today? It's been a virtually snowless winter at my house. I have hyacinths and daffodils in bloom, tulips come later. Robins started chirping about 10 minutes before my alarm went off. I know that early birds are supposed to have an advantage, but you'd think they'd at least wait until dawn! Happy Monday!
Good morning team. Snow? I am so sick of the snow. Everyone keeps reminding me that I was the one complaining about no white Christmas this year. It did start on Christmas Eve about 11pm or so. Everyone says I cursed it and cursing me. I like one good storm because it is pretty, but that is enough.
My landlord had me sitting home yesterday waiting for the guy to come and do repairs. He never showed up and never called. Now I have to do today what I was suppose to do yesterday, grocery shopping. I went to the pool this morning and worked out in the therapy pool. It felt so good. Now I have to jump in the shower and get ready for my day. I don't like it when people throw wrenches in your schedule.
I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning everyone! I live in the southwest, so no snow here, though it is far colder than usual. Still, I'll take it! I used to live in the upper Midwest and there is a reason I left. It'll be in the low 70s again in a few days, so I can handle a couple of days of sweaters. =) I'm about to do some ST and eat breakfast. Have a great day everyone, and stay warm and safe!

Only a couple of inches so far in northern Virginia, and the radar suggests it will stop soon. However, when I left the house at 5 am, I was the first person to drive on my street, and it was treacherous. I kept going, but the main road I turned on was just as bad. I got 1.5 miles from my house with little traction and almost no braking ability and decided to call it before I got to the big, winding hill. Notified my boss as soon as I booted the computer that I wanted to telework, and she agreed...conditions are even worse at her place. The Office of Personnel Management blew this call. Fortunately, individual agencies are stepping up to make the decision OPM was too spineless to make.
We got some snow too - not too much, about an inch, but it's snowing again right now. forecast is for just under 3 inches and then rain. Schools are closed so it could be a dead as door-nail day at the library - or all of them could flood in to see us. Not sure which I prefer.
I got in lots of walks yesterday, about 4 miles altogether, so I'm a little puzzled why my active link monitor gave me such a low score. (it's a Weight Watcher's product so it counts in "points plus points". But I did a LOT of sitting in between walks. had fun with my drawing pencils and a fresh new pad of good drawing paper.
I did overdo it a bit with the icecream but I'm still within my weekly calorie/points allowance so I'm not stressing about it.
Happy last week of March to you all - may spring be close at hand.
Hi Pat, We are getting snow here tonight and I am sick of the snow now. It should around 40 degree here and sometimes we get a warm day of 60. I long for Spring and all the pretty flowers. My tulips have not come up only the tips show through the ground. My neighbor has coucoes. I worked out this morning and will walk my little doggy before it snows here. Best wishes, Linda from bean town
Winter wonder land here too, but it looks wet and melty. I think my husband will be disappointed he won't be able to get his snow equipment out. It's been sitting all winter--all new and READY. Wish I could send him to your house Maree.
I'm ready to get Monday going. Yesterday I sorted family photos including those of my parents and grandparents. My grandparents had very few of course, but when my parents paid for developing they kept every one! They are fun, but there is a pile!! Still I made progress on a task I've long felt was impossible. Well guess what, it is not impossible. Kinda like maintaining... LOL
Have a good week everyone!

It's snowing - and as annoyed as I am by snow on March 25th - it's very pretty. It won't be around long. We are supposed to have temps in the 50s shortly. Enjoy your day everyone, Pat
I believe in myself, I am a strong woman. I will reach my goals, NOTHING & NOBODY will hold me down. I will live my life with integrity and intention. I will set a good example for my daughters and my son. I will be a woman that makes my grand children proud when they look at pictures of me long after I've left this earth.
That stinks about the snow Maree. I don't know how much we got yet, haven't been up long. I glanced outside when DH took the dog out, just saw white. I hear we have milder weather coming later in the week so maybe March has finally decided to start "going out like a lamb".
I was very lazy yesterday, besides a couple errands, one load of laundry and making dinner. The scale shows it this morning but I'll take care of that the next couple days.
I have some challenges this week but I will take a deep breath and face them! Onward with the Monday!
I hope the snow clearing didn't cause any problems Maree , it certainly is good exercise. Most snow has gone from where I live in England so I hope to get some walking done. I have been catching up on indoor tasks.
One was sorting out my card making stuff. I hope next time I am making cards I can find all the gear I need quickly .I do try to be organiser I hate wasting time looking for things. Have a good week team Irene.

Good morning. ST and cardio today will be shoveling out from 12-13inches of snow. We have a long driveway and a 4WD pickup as well as a low profile vehicle. No snow plow down culdesac yet. Some Palm Sunday!!
