I don't go to the doctor often, but am feeling horrible and am drained. I am running a slight fever this evening and have used almost a whole box of tissues -- in one day -- just one after another. Now, I am nauseated so I am going to try and eat a little something to see if a little food will settle the nausea.

The doctor may be on my agenda, if I don't get better by tomorrow. Thanks for the concern.

(Just when I was getting my exercise routine on track--I get the worse cold/flu I've had in years! Grrrrrr!)

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

CW: WAS 124.7 NOW: 143.5
My focus is health AND fitness! And LOSING 10 lbs. again!

My son had friends spend the night so I had to do my Insanity recovery workout later in the afternoon. I'm a much better morning workout person! So it will be up early tomorrow before heading to Palm Sunday services and then meeting a friend for coffee! I have to go walk the dog before the snow starts falling harder! emoticon Have a great rest of the weekend.

Yesterday was a mixed bag for me, too. I clipped the passenger side mirror off my car on my way to my concert, in addition to feeling awful about such a bonehead accident, it'll take time and money to fix that I'd rather have used for other things. In spite of getting rattled by that, the concert went well, with a full house and a very appreciative audience. I'd had plans for a small dinner with the thought of going out after the concert--shared appetizers at a Greek restaurant. At least I was driving, so no alcohol. My weight was way up this morning, but I know it's temporary. Still, I need to be careful and not let the occasional restaurant meal completely derail me.

Oh Pam - please take your chest and it's painful cough to the dr. I have 2 employees down with non-symptomatic pneumonia - what we used to call walking pneumonia. Neither had a fever but oh man are they sick.

Good Morning, ehhh, good noon! ;)

Still fighting this chest cold--I thought I was getting through with it last night and woke up today with incredible discomfort when I cough and now I am sneezing and . . . mucus, ugh!

I dropped another 2 lbs. today. That is 6 lbs. in 4 days. Go figure. I have 'maintained' around 134 for 4 months and only once did I hit 131 and suddenly I start losing again?????? I haven't cut calories either--I am at my low limit already--just the usual ebb and flow. Seems like I might have had a four month plateau or something. Weird! 128 sounds really good, but I just think it may be too 'little' for me.

Morning everyone! I am so relieved to have made it through another crazy week at work and to have some down time again. I still managed to follow my program this week despite the stress (had to drop one short workout, but no biggie). Today my partner and I are going to the movies and to lunch afterwards. I have a light dinner planned and this particular restaurant is really good about serving reasonable portion sizes, so I am feeling good about eating out.

I started my day doing some cardio with Coach Nicole (I love her Cardio Blast DVD) and just finished a good breakfast.

Good morning team!

Had a good day yesterday. Splurged and had two slices of pizza at lunch and probably 3 beers at poker last night. But had a large healthy dinner so I wasn't tempted when the bar snacking began. I did have some peanuts, but I consider those a healthy snack.

Need to get my grocery list made and head to the store today. Don't have a definite plan for exercise just yet. It is supposed to be a rest day, but I haven't swam in a long time and that is sounding so good right now.

Happy Saturday all!

It looked like everyone had a good day yesterday, many workouts, keeps me moving to read everything everyone is doing.

Maree, you get some intesne workouts in, yesterday's sounds like a ton of fun. I get sometimes how you can doubt this maintenance thing but you will do it. You have the drive! I will march along with you!

Irene, I bet your house will smell heavenly today. Tortoise, that is a cool challenge!

Last night I was really grumping after the weather forecast. I'm so ready for March to go out like a lamb but she doesn't seem ready yet so I'm officially done complaining about the weather. Spring will get here and soon I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat.

I have a baby shower today for a co-worker's daughter. Not sure what I want to do for a workout later. Maybe a little stationary bike, a couple SP cardio videos and some ab work.

Good morning team .snow here .i m staying home today. I can use the time to plan some meals , I just put chicken pieces in the crock pot with stock, I need to add lots of veggies later. Thinking it will be today's main meal plus a portion for a single meal for myself some time . Be prepared is my motto. Have a good weekend team. Irene

Good morning fellow maintainers! I'm awake too early, catching up on email and SP. I went to the Hip Hop Girls' Night Out event at the gym last night. The instructor was very motivating and sweet. She taught us a dance and the last time through it she encouraged everyone to pull out their ponytail holders and let their hair down to swish it all around as we performed our sassy moves to Carrie Underwood's song "Cowboy Casa Nova". Pretty hilarious and lots of fun! I may add the Hip Hop class now and then for fun, but feel I need to stick with "real" workouts to maintain my fitness goals.

On the nutrition side, I'm not tracking well enough and must do better. I'm starting to think that one of the reasons I am not sleeping well has to do with not eating enough--because I slept so well after dinner out at friends the other night. I'm hungry now but eating ice cubes and drinking hot tea as I can't afford the calories. We're out of milk which would be helpful. Any ideas on this? I wonder if I can maintain this weight after all... sigh. Exercise is easier for me to get in but I know nutrition is 80% of weight loss.

Okay, today is long walk with fitness buddy and partying with DD and Granddaughter this afternoon (Yaay!). Puts a BIG smile on my face!
