Hi All, I walked the doggie in the snow this morning and I have to take him out again. My little doggie is waiting patiencely for me. I shoveled snow this morning for an hour. Hi. I am going to fake it until I can make it. I had a horrible week. Stress ate the whole week. Ice cream, cookies, McDonald's, Pizza, nothing healthy. I didn't spark, I sat and watched the Jodi Arias trial and ate. With the help of my friends and family, I have decided to fake it until I feel the motivation again. I am not even 10% here but I am forcing it. I have drank 2 glasses of water today so far, which is good considering I didn't drink any for the last couple days. I am answering my emails, and writing a daily blog, even a short one. I will not give in to these emotions. I know my son will be alright, he has to be. With all my friends praying for him and all the good thoughts going to him, there is no other option.

I had a great weekend! Spent it with friends and family, and I took a personal day today--was planning to spend it with my friend who is on Spring break from the school she works at--work out at Planet Fitness with her--eat at Panera Bread (our favorite), but the weather had to go and throw freezing rain at us. I stayed home, spent part of the day reading, did an exercise video instead, and still had a nice day. When I finally checked my email from weekend, it took me an hour to get through it all, and I discovered that I got that featured blog post award now too...my cup run-eth over :) Thanks team!

Happy Monday! My 2nd week of maintaining & I did it this week! YES! 250 minutes of Dancing yesterday! Today I NEED pilates.... it helps me like yoga does for some! So I am off to it!

I'm a bit more tired and sore from doing some raking up in the yard yesterday, but it was so worth the effort.. The front yard looks much better with all the little branches and twigs that came down from our last few windy days.. We have lots of big trees all around us, so the needles and cones are always filling up the yard also..
The best part was, it was nice enough out to actually spend time raking!!
It's a tight ring morning, so I'm trying not to panic about the high weight, but I really need to get things going in the right direction. I'm still not over the time change, I stayed up much later than I'd intended.

Happy Monday everyone! Thanks for all the well-wishes about reaching my goal. I'm back to a normal week at work since Spring Break is over, which I'm hoping will still be relatively quiet. I am really in need of a day or two off. Fortunately, I talked to my best friend yesterday, and it is looking almost certain that he will be visiting over Good Friday/Easter weekend. Anyway, I'm off to go do some ST and eat breakfast.

First day back to normal routine for the family after spring break. Yay! Got up and ran. Working on increasing my speed and it feels awesome. The office is going to be hectic after being out. Will have my head down and stay focused.
Funny, I thought my corned beef dinner was really healthy. Once you trim the thin layer of fat off of your brisket, it is very lean. I made mine in the slow cooker and it was very tender. It is salty though, and the scale showed it this morning!

Happy Monday everyone! You know it's going to be one of those days when your oatmeal boils over in the microwave . Oh, well!!! Did the corned beef thing yesterday - amazing how REALLY high in fat it is....good thing that St Pat's comes only once a year. At least I got smart and lighting brushed the veggies with olive oil and roasted them instead of boiling them in all that fat. Really watching it close today and meeting with the girls tonight, so today will be an emphasis on getting in my protein and freggies early and saving the gratuitous fats and carbs for the get together. On the off chance that someone actually brings something healthy, I'll be ahead of the game.

I'm still recovering from my 5K Saturday. I've been up 15 minutes and I'm ready to go back to bed! It's tough running in cold, damp weather with a few inclines thrown in. But I will be all the more stronger in a couple days!
Hoping to get my two walking breaks at work in today, then tonight maybe the elliptical and some upper body ST.
Another good morning from VA - where we are having SNOW! Wet snow, but the thoughts of steamy summertime and balmy evenings seem very far away today. It's the last day of my "week" and I still have some Weight Watcher's points left, although I have gotten in only half the exercise and activity that is normal for me. This was a rough week time wise and I was also fighting off (successfully - yea me!) a respiratory bug that swept my office. Today I'm off to TheCity to visit my mama, have lunch with my sister and SHOP!

Good morning all! This morning I'm headed to the gym for 30 min treadmill incline and speed interval and 60 min ST class. Other than that, it's Monday. I could have slept longer. Forecast is way below normal all week but at least sunshine once we get through today. Makes a difference.

Greetings from Bangkok! It is incredibly hot and humid here, to the point my glasses steam up every time I emerge from air conditioning. Tummy is a bit more rumbly here than in Indonesia, but I guess I just have to let it work through. Hope everyone is ready for Monday again!
