Truly a lazy day. Went no where and did very little . . . except I did exercise. Today, I focused on Yoga. Thinking I like it very much. I skipped the jump rope (another new introduction into my exercising) since it rained most of the day and I really need to do that outside, but maybe tomorrow I can get in a few minutes of jumping. (a few minutes is about all I can do right now but hopefully my stamina will improve). Amanda told me about a SP video on jump rope if anyone is interested. I also did some step exercises and weights. Got in about an hour! Yeah for me!!!!!
I am so glad I am FINALLY starting to get an exercise regime rather than hit and miss like before. I think it will help me on firming up all this loose skin---or that is my hope. Any way you look at it, it IS good for me--inside or out.
I ate a hamburger today! Not happy about that, but I just crave it sometimes. I ate a big salad and made an open face sandwich with the meat patty on low calorie bread. I made a meatloaf/veggie patty, but still figure I had a full portion of meat since I still like to eat large portions to feel full. For breakfast/lunch I had about a cup and a half of partially frozen strawberries and cool whip lite. Not sure about my next snack. Probably popcorn and a diet coke.

Update! NO MORE Wiggle room on my weight! Still figuring out how to keep balance and stay in charge. Staying active but could step it up again.

Hi All, I walked my doggie four times and taught Sunday school. I made a beef stew for St. Patrick's Day. I took Mommy out to the grocery store to walk around and buy a few things. Best wishes, Linda from bean town
Weight still high, but I know some of it is fluid retention. Still, it's discouraging. Plans are in the works for Chinese food after my concert this afternoon and that's usually a guarantee of a couple of pounds, so it may be a few days before I can get back within my comfort zone. I may be out of the maintainer challenge.
Weight is still up. Had way too much soy sauce with my sushi yesterday. We have to drive 2 hours round trip to eat sushi so we don't do it very often. I enjoyed every bite! Have my meals and workouts planned for the week and groceries bought. YAY! About to get some corned beef in the crock pot, kettlebells and treadmill for workout, and lots of housework to catch up on.

HAAPY ST PATRICKS DAY! Still fighting to get within (and eventually to the lower end of) my goal weight range. As of this morning, I am at the lowest that I have been in several weeks. Going to try to hit the gym today...at least for a little while. Then, tomorrow I'll have a little time between work and my ladies bible study. Got lots to do before my baby sis comes up next weekend for a visit. Plus, having my older sis home creates a whole new lists of tasks, but at least I won't be making the hours long round trip 5X a week + visiting time. Hoping that makes it easier to juggle the schedule.

I'm taking it easy today after yesterday's 5K. It's tough running in the cold but it was a great day with my daughter! Next up is a 5K for charity the end of April. Hopefully it will be much better weather!
Good morning. I would love to get on my treadmill, but it is behind a ton of stuff . So no treadmill until after Passover. I am doing DVD with Kelly Coffey Myer and exercise bike today. Sadly no zumba. I need to work on food choices.
Walked 3+ miles total, calories look like they're mid range - but I'm not sure, some of the caloric contents that show up are different than the estimate I get from the kilojules (which has me very confused). Ah well, close enough I hope!
Good morning team mates! Maree, I hope you are smiling in your newly cleaned kitchen with it's "cabinet jewelry" all changed. I earned lots of steps organizing and cleaning yesterday too. My re-carpeted basement is livable. More boxes to unpack, but the space itself is cozy and inviting. Slept like a rock after all that!

Good morning Maintainers and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
Yesterday I scrubbed the kitchen cabinets and finished replacing all the hardware handles with an updated style (47 pieces). Of course, while the drawer is out, might as well clean the silverware tray, etc. So it was a big project, then cleaned the kitchen floor, laundry, chore day! I never left the house. Sat down at the piano and spent a lot of time on the phone with DD discussing her current crisis (finding a new babysitter).
I made stuffed peppers for dinner, Pretty good nutrition day, but I didn't get it all tracked. Today, I'm headed to church, stop at the office, grocery shopping. Plan to take a long walk/run today.
