If I didn't have pics of myself I would hardly believe that I was morbidly obese a couple years ago. So I understand what you are talking about VTRICIA. I too have more energy and can actually keep moving throughout the day. 2 hours of fitness for me today and a nap!

I still don't "get" that I weigh less. I was on the playground with my toddler yesterday and thought about going down the slide and swinging in a swing. I thought "I felt skinny at my postpartum checkup, and I am 30 pounds less than that now." It just doesn't register. It was a lot easier to swing than it has been in years though. And I wasn't afraid of breaking the slide.
I want to check my bodyfat calipers this weekend, and maybe take some more pictures, especially of my arms. I can't see a difference, but maybe it will show up.
Yay--it's Friday! Looking forward to a weekend with friends and family. Headed to the Y for my ST and cardio after work today instead of the staff social that is being held at a local watering hole :) Although, the latter was tempting--I'll have my wine tonight while relaxing with my sweetie instead :)

I'm SO glad it's Friday. I'm looking forward to sleeping until dawn tomorrow. I kept myself to a reasonable piece of pie last night and may have been OK on calories. Dinner was a pasta I picked up after getting my hair cut and I have no idea what the calorie count really is, I just chose something in the tracker that looked close. Time for work!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm so glad it's here. It is also the first day since Monday that I have not had to go into work early, which is such a relief! I actually have time for a workout this morning that takes more than 15-20 minutes (I'll be doing some Taebo). It's going to be a gorgeous day here too. Can't wait! Good morning team - and CONGRATS Maree on your anniversary!!! LRSILVER, it will get easier as time goes along. The biggest thing that I have learned is that maintainance is not the destination, just another part of the journey. Hanging in there and doing better nutritionally. Bringing my sister home this weekend and hoping to get rebalanced again quickly. Hoping to get in a decent workout Sunday and then get a good routine gong again.

So last night, went to a wine tasting with friends then to a Mexican restaurant because our friends didn't eat before the wine tasting. DH and I just split nachos. I had every intention of keeping control but instead I spun WAY out!
So to stop myself, my mind wandered to the door and imagined all you guys coming in smiling and waving and sitting around our table smiling and saying 'its all good now, we're here'. Then I sat on my hands.
Scale is up some more today so I'll be good today and tomorrow.
Good morning! Today is my 21 mo anniversary of meeting my goal weight and I'm taking the day off work. A reward for working way too hard over the last few months, and taking advantage of a warm (60 degrees), sunny forecast, we're headed to the marina to check on the houseboat. Water to the dock isn't turned on yet, we can only stay the day as DH has commitment here Saturday, and we have to attend a funeral (father of good friends) and take dogs to vet, but I'm so looking forward to being in my "sweet spot", being near the water and seeing our friends.
5 day streak of getting on the scale, and it's up today :(((, so I'm attributing it to salt and resolving to be more careful today. Tough workout day at gym--30 min elliptical, 60 min RIPPED class.
I hope all my friends here have a great day today-- and find a reason to smile!
