Good morning! Yes, it is the wee hours, 2:45 a.m., and I slept only 5 hours. I was hoping the relief of putting my deadline projects in the mail last night, plus only 4 hours of sleep the night before, would have resulted in a long night's sleep. Hopefully I'll catch up soon or figure out how to change this too-early rising habit.
I did go to the gym yesterday for my workout, but I overslept and missed about 10 min of cardio and the ST class incorporated those punching bags--pretty lame. Today though, I can get there early and do my interval treadmill workout for 30 min, maybe some spinning on one of the new machines for 15 min. or so and then pilates for 60 min--that instructor is consistently well prepared and challenging. My core has always been my best asset; it's the hips and thighs that like to hang on to any excess fat cells. You know, the classic pear shape and all the derogatory names we've been called. Let's not go there--we could start a thread on recovering from "words will never hurt me". Someday I'll get a chance to blog--lots of topics I could write about.
