Been so busy at work and at home--haven't checked in in a while--had a great Birthday, and I'm going to have to come back and catch up on everyone during my next break :) Weight is up a little bit(still in my range)--but that's what Birthday cake does :) Bringing it back down again

Good Tuesday morning all! I always have a hard time adjusting to DST as well, takes several days before I feel back in sync. I did make it up and to the gym this morning, though, so off to a good start with a light breakfast and a run on the treadmill. Have a great day!

The only sunshine for me today is on this thread! It is one dreary morning. But no excuses here as I get the news from everyone waking up and moving on distant shores. Helloooo, I say to Jakarta, England, Chicago and places nearer to me in Virginia. Thanks for the inspiration. Filing Fresh D'Lite for further reference LOGOULD. And Maree, it's the latest news...we pear shaped women have a healthy profile. I know. Tell THAT to my mirror! Enjoying you all and energized to get going myself. Now where is that rain slicker?

Feeling like I'm getting back into the swing a little more. Finally saw a little movement on the scale this morning, thankfully. Went to a wonderful seminar on running smarter, faster and without injury at one of the local running stores last night. On the way, stopped at a newer restaurant around here called Fresh D'Lite. If you have one near you, GO THERE. All fresh foods and every dish on the menu is 550 calories or less. I have the steak griller bowl. Perfect med./rare steak, grilled veggies and brown rice with a fresh orange for a side..;..YUMMY!!! (and only 460 cals. Had a small hiccup with the Garmin yesterday at the gym, but got it straightened out and we'll see how well the fix worked on Wed. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Good morning! Yes, it is the wee hours, 2:45 a.m., and I slept only 5 hours. I was hoping the relief of putting my deadline projects in the mail last night, plus only 4 hours of sleep the night before, would have resulted in a long night's sleep. Hopefully I'll catch up soon or figure out how to change this too-early rising habit.
I did go to the gym yesterday for my workout, but I overslept and missed about 10 min of cardio and the ST class incorporated those punching bags--pretty lame. Today though, I can get there early and do my interval treadmill workout for 30 min, maybe some spinning on one of the new machines for 15 min. or so and then pilates for 60 min--that instructor is consistently well prepared and challenging. My core has always been my best asset; it's the hips and thighs that like to hang on to any excess fat cells. You know, the classic pear shape and all the derogatory names we've been called. Let's not go there--we could start a thread on recovering from "words will never hurt me". Someday I'll get a chance to blog--lots of topics I could write about.

7 15 am in England as I drop in. Going to start my daily exercises soon. I had fallen by the wayside but made yesterday my fresh start day, it went well so I continue today to up the exercise minutes.it is icy outside so it looks like a stay a home and keep warm day. Greetings! It's 2 pm in Indonesia, so that means it's in the wee hours back home. We are having a great conference, but there is precious little opportunity to exercise, since the compound is small, there is no gym, and the schedule is too full. Looking forward to getting to a gym when I head back to Jakarta this weekend.
