Hi all. I am new. I planned a walk today because it is so beautiful out. I was sick Friday, not even getting out of bed and yesterday wasn't feeling all that much better. I did manage to get out of bed though. I felt better today and had oatmeal for breakfast. I probably shouldn't have eaten but I was so hungry. I never went for my walk.
Tomorrow is my day to go to the aquatic/fitness center. We had a snow storm on Friday so I didn't go. Nothing is stopping me tomorrow. I look forward to relaxing in the heated pool. It really does miracles for the aching joints and my back. I hope everyone has a wonderful blessed healthy week.

Thirty-six plus hours of traveling with very little sleep on a shuttle, three flights, and a long taxi ride got me finally to Jakarta. I could not believe how many sick people were on the planes! I thought dysentery was going to be my biggest worry, but maybe not. Anyway, I went to the gym to stay awake yesterday afternoon, then went to dinner, Skyped with DH, and turned out the light before 9 pm. Was wide awake at 2:30 am. I may try some melatonin tonight.
Wow! You are inspiring to me. I walked my little doggie twice today so far and will walk him two more times today. I am sick today. I have a sore throat and fever. I have been trying to take it easy on myself. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

just got back from gym... nice workout... i am down 10# so half of what i gained over the holidays.... have to goin and work this afternoon for a couple hours so a coworker can go to a baby shower.... then I might hit the treadmill again.... really want to get that last 10 gone....

Finally feeling closer to human. Now seriously got to get back to life at MY normal (full speed ahead). Unfortunately, going to be having to look for a new place to live. At least I have some time, but it is going to be tough. Won't let it throw me off though. Just keep on moving forward.

Anothe successful day yesterday and the scale is moving in the right direction. We'll see how the weekend goes. We're headed north to look at boat parts and for a benefit concert this evening. Restaurant meals all day.

Just a quick hello. I've been up most of the night working and am headed to the office. Once of those weekends. I'm not sick, but I am sick of having to work so much--I need to do something ab out this. On a positive note, I nearly resorted to an old habit of treating myself to some goodies which I can only eat in small moderation, but caught myself and chose a cup of milk instead. I shall not sabotage my weight goals by soothing my need for a reward or lack of confidence in what I'm working on with sugar and carbs.
Okay, gotta go.

Finally over Wednesday's kettle ball and TRX workout with the trainer. One inner thigh is still a little tight as well as my triceps. I need to be careful this week. 5K IS SEVEN DAYS AWAY! I'm getting excited!
I'm on call till Friday afternoon so I will be doing some SP videos this week. I need to work on the nutrition. I've looked back over the week and it wasn't great so my goal for the week is to pay more attention there.
A friend of mine is coming over tonight to watch Water For Elephants. We both read the book.
