I had a lot of activity over the weekend. I'm pretty proud of a 6 day workout streak. I set my goal to do that again this week.
Finally got 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night. Last week was rough and the rest of this month, this life perhaps, could be rough as well. Still waiting to find out if my husband loses his career on April 1.

I've been so tired this week, but still managing to stay on track with exercise and eating. Spring is teasing us here with one day of sun and now it's back to frosty mornings.. but at least we don't have any snow like some of you!!
Yes, today is a new day! I didn't do too badly yesterday on food and now the pistachios are gone, so sanity can return. It was frosty here this morning, but nice to get up and see the sky getting lighter. I have some Spring flowers in bloom already. Tonight is the last rehearsal for my women's choir--concerts start this weekend with a benefit for a women's shelter. Onward!

Terrible food day yesterday. I ate terribly. Just bad choices. But, today is a new day. I will consider yesterday a high calorie day and move on.
We've got a big storm headed our way and we have a terrible power infrastructure. And most of the snow is supposed to hit over night on Tuesday, so if the power does go, it is unlikely that we will be able to get out of house to my in laws (who live near by, but have a much better power grid.) I'm going to hit the store today after checking my canned goods and then I will restock everything. And I'm going to start freezing blocks of ice to keep my fridge and freezer cold. But, at least a winter power outage is better than a summer one, because I'll have lots of snow to pack in to the freezer and fridge as things melt.

Good morning everyone! Had a productive weekend and did okay nutritionally, even after lunching with my little sis at Steak and Shake. Had a little hiccup last night with some low fat No Sugar Added ice cream, but even with that was just 100 cal over my goal and now the ice cream is done and out of the house. Picked up some Arctic Zero at the health food store to combat those uncontrollable cravings. I hear we have some more snow coming in over the next couple of days so it looks like fitness will be in the form of shoveling since I work 1-10PM both days. Getting ready to make the trek down to see my older sister in the rehab center before work and to drop off laundry/care pkg and pick up the new laundry. Started today with a very healthy breakfast ...good veggies and protein and instant grits for the iron (yummy) and have veggies and salsa chicken prepped and ready for lunch and dinner as well as plenty of fruit, yogurt and nuts for snacks. I think I'm pretty well set up for success this week. Two steps forward one step back!

Waiting for the big snow storm. Hoping it's just alot of hype and we only see a few inches.
I need the weather to start cooperating so I can get out and start walking/running outside. I've got a month to train and although I can't officially get going strong for another week, I can at least make some strides towards it.
Today I will be getting on the treadmill for my workout.

I got up at 4:15 to do my Insanity workout. I'm finding that I feel better if I do the workout in the morning. I'm pretty tired by the evening! I'm gearing up for parent teacher conferences this week. Two late nights, but we get Friday off!

Maree, you have me thinking about exercise, too. My mixed levels yoga class is tonight, and as we move through the session, the instructor ups the challenge, so it's a pretty good workout. In addition, I got to work to find my watch battery had died...never even noticed when I put it on this morning that it had stopped a little after midnight, sheesh!
So, oh darn, I'll be "forced" to walk to the watch repair shop for a new battery. And since the watch shop is on the way to Whole Foods, and I don't have a banana in my lunch bag today, I'll just "have" to go to WF.

I ran three miles outside yesterday and surprised myself with my progress since November. Then I did some ST that I'm feeling this morning! Today will be a rest day since I have ST with my trainer tomorrow. Just two walking breaks at work today.
Sure is crazy weather around here. I just heard some areas here may get 6-12 inches of snow overnight tonight. COME ON!
Well, onward with the Monday. One day closer to spring than we were yesterday!
Maree you always get my thoughts going about what exercise I'm going to do today. You are a good role model! My plan is for 30 minutes of elliptical and then some at home strength training. Working today and taking care of some tax prep for my business.

Good morning! It sounds like many of us could use some warm weather and sunshine, including me. I'm headed to the gym for 30 min cardio and 60 min ST class. Not my favorite instructor because she isn't consistent--sometimes she's on top of her game and other times she just complains about it being Monday. Nevertheless if I put my mind to it I can get a good workout.
Busy stressful week ahead but looking forward to 50+ temps next weekend.
