Hi all, I ate a little to much at the restaurant last night to celebrate my brother's birthday. I will be more careful the rest of the week. I exercised today, did Tai Chi for an hour, walked the dog several times today and raked the lawn for half an hour. Best wishes, Linda from bean town

Kellie, that's great you got out of your funk! I'm still struggling with withdrawal from having my sweet granddaughter here to enjoy. I miss my son and his wife too. It is good to get back to normal whatever that is, but I'm lost and not very motivated. I'm trying to keep busy.
My hubby found out his shoulder pain is from a pinched nerve in his neck where he has arthritis that we just found out about today. He's miserable, but hopefully the prednisone will help the inflammation and they gave him some muscle relaxant and pain medicine he will take at night so he can sleep. He hasn't had a good night sleep for days. I'm glad he finally decided to go to the Dr.

good afternoon everyone. I started to check in this morning but didn't. Couldn't think of anything to type. I'm not sure what happened to me, I had a great day with family and friends yesterday, not too horrible eating but this morning I was in such a funk. It was very frustrating.
i finally off the couch at 10am to walk the dog and was planning to push myself to the gym even though I wanted to no part of that horribly humid building. After walking the dog, I felt a little better. It was cold the sun was really bright and without over-thinking it, grabbed my cold-weather clothes and got there. I did really well for me, really surprised myself.
Now I'm doing laundry and cleaning the house. I've got my spark back! Have a superb day!

It's a sunny Sunday morning here, too. I pretty much finished off the pistachios last night and won't be buying them in that quantity again! Let's just put this unfortunate incident behind me and get back to business! This afternoon I plan to make beef broth from a package of soup bones I got with my beef share. Wednesday I have an appointment to see a doctor who is covering for my regular family doctor. I think she went through her panel, saw that I hadn't been seen for ages and take a boat load of medications and said, "Get her in here!" I rarely get sick enough to see a doctor and all my continuing issues are handled by specialists. It's probably time for a "well adult" visit anyway.

I had a rough night with the headcold. I had two rounds of oatmeal this morning. I'm thinking about how to implement the support group aspect of the NWCR's STOP regain study. I'll probably blog about that.
Good Morning team. The sun is shining this morning and we haven't had many sunny days this winter, so it's going to be an enjoyable dog walk this morning. It's frosty out though, so I still need to bundle up!

Welcome back, Tortise! The sun didn't stay out all that long here in Virginny, and that wind is biting!
After refreshing sleep, I started the day with a healthy breakfast of plain Greek yogurt sweetened with a little stevia, fresh blueberries (okay, as fresh as can be expected, given that they are imported this time of year), and ground flax seed. It feels good to start the day right. The next move was setting dates for our next vacay. DH gets vacation dates assigned, and he's not senior enough in his rating to get good dates, so we have the last week of April and the first week of May. Planning to return to the Pacific Northwest with possibly a weekend side trip to Anchorage.

We saw a few days of sunshine, but it's already turning cloudy again. Had a great paddle yesterday (enough so that I am laughing makes my stomach hurt!) and today we are going for a bike ride. It's been at least 15 years since I've been on a bike!

Happy Sunday everyone! I was happy to see this morning that since I got back on track with my workouts this week, my weight is going back down again. I've got some cooking and some workouts planned for today, but not much else. It's supposed to be a beautiful day here today, so I might do a solo walk this afternoon (partner is sick, unfortunately). Have a good one all!

A blessed Sunday morning to you all! Despite a couple of pretty bad days last week, I did manage to maintain, but quite a bit higher than I would like to be. Postponing the making of the pork loin roast today...putting it off until Wed. when I can do a large batch of roast vegetables to go with it. Plan is to hit the gym Mon and Tues morning for Pilates, Running and maybe spin (or not). That might be biting off too much too early. Better to stick with something that isn't going to kill me. I close Monday and Tuesdayk but Wed is a day off and finally I get to go get hy hair done. Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy your Sunday!

Good morning team.
Thanks for the get well wishes. Today is day four and I am feeling better. Think most of the congestion is out of my chest, just dealing with the sinus pressure now. I can handle that a lot easier.
Need to get my grocery list made and go to the grocery store. Everyone have a great day!

Good Sunday morning all, it is snowing a little here in Central Kentucky, nothing major but its cold. That means I have to walk with Leslie Sansone in front of the TV today. That would be after a visit to the hospital to see my friend and her husband who is recovering from a stroke and subsequent fall.

Good Sunday morning, team. Glad to be back on my home turf and the sun is out in Virginia! I am glad to see it after lots of cold and dreary weather in Ohio. Whatever I do today will need to be outside. My husband and I are planning a good long walk and I'll be cooking at home. Ahhhhhh!

A little bit over but not bad - we went to an international market day and I actually was pretty reasonable in my choices and portions. Also got in a lot of walking.

Good morning team! Most of my exercise yesterday was lifting a 25 lb wriggling squirming granddaughter. :)) We also went to the gym and did a workout DD got from a Nike app. We shopped and cooked and had a laid back day.
Church this morning and maybe a walk if it warms up a bit and then the drive home.
